Ok, here's a quick dining review of all of the table service meals we went to, mostly character meals! We have 4 children ages 7, 5, 3, and 1. And, we were on the dining plan (thank God for that:rotfl: )

First up: Donald's Breakfast at Tusker House- This was wonderful! The food was great (kids loved the donuts and jungle juice!) Our server was so sweet and we saw Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy. They had a parade for the kids where they gave them instrunments and it was a great time!! We would definetly go back!

Dinner: We paid OOP for T-Rex in downtown disney and it was well worth it, my 3 year old is still talking about it! No one was scared and the food was expensive, but good. It was a fun experience!

Next: CRT for lunch- I had really looked forward to this and I was really let down, mainly because of the server. He was not very "magical" and seemed bothered by us. The food was good, though. We saw Cinderella in the main lobby and then Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Snow White, and Mary Poppins. I'm honestly thinking of writing to disney about our bad experience with the server.

Third: Hollywood N' Vine's Playhouse Disney Lunch- This buffet had normal buffet food, but it was fine for us. The kids loved seeing Leo and June from Little Einsteins and JoJo and Goliath. There was a fun parade here as well with lots of music and dancing! We would go back here as well!

Fourth: Chef Mickey's for dinner- We all loved this!! The food was great- the kids loved the sundae bar! We saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy (who got big laughs when he put my youngest sons stuffed animal in his mouth!) This will be a must for us I'm sure!

Fifth- Tusker House lunch buffet- no characters here, but the food was absoultely the best we had the entire trip!!! The buffet had many choices and some unusual stuff that was so good! Even the kids liked it!

Last- Crystal Palace for dinner- Wow, this place is big! However, we had another wonderful server, great food ( I loved the bread!) and we saw Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and Tigger. The kids had a great time here between the characters and the parade!

All in all, it was a great dining experience!

Glad to hear you had (overall) such good experiences! :cool1:

We have 5 character meals booked for our January trip, and 3 of them are on your list (Donald's Safari Breakfast, Chef Mickeys, and Crystal Palace). We are so looking forward to each of them!!

Sorry that CRT was not what you had hoped. For 2 dining credits, it should EXCEED the quality of the others, IMHO.

CRT was a bust and I agree for 2 TS credits, it should have been better. I am really disappointed. So much would have been different if we would have had a better server.

The reviews sound great...except CRT. A friend went last year over Christmas and spoke of a great experience.:confused3 We are at WDW over Christmas/New Year for 10 night with the DDP, so nearly all our meals our Character (so DS princess: and DD pirate: don't have to wait in the line for them all at the parks). We are at Chef Mickey's for a few breakfasts and 1 dinner, CRT twice, CP 2 breakfast, 1 lunch, Akershus lunch, LTT 2 dinner, Tusker house 1 C breakfast & n/c lunch, as well as some regular TS ressies. I feel like we are eating our way through WDW.:scared1:
