Character Buffets for Breakfast....

Do you recommend making my reservations for late morning so that this will count as a TS meal for the day if I am on the Disney Dining Plan? And do you know when the last reservation is held for breakfast at Tusker House for example?

I believe that the breakfast hours at Tusker House are 8-10:30. As far as what time to make a reservation for, it's really what your preference is. If you go at 8am you are in the park before it opens so once you finish eating you can still get a good jump on the popular rides. If you make it for 10:30 it would be a good brunch type meal and you could do snacks and quick service meal throughout the rest of the day.

For our family we try to make brunch reservations on days when there are early extra magic hours. It allows us to get into the park early, take advantage of the short wait times, get fast passes for the day for the rides we want to go on later, and then once the park opens and gets busy we duck inside for a nice late breakfast. I find this it makes the best use of our time.
