Need help choosing a good character b-fast for DD7 & DN9. DD went for the first time last year & totally loved Chef Mickey. She really loved the Celebrate song & the napkin twirling on queue. She wants DN to Celebrate with Mickey & friends too, but DM wants to try somewhere different this year. I will go back to Chef Mickey but want variety.....where should we go? Pls give suggestions....hopefully somewhere that is interactive & funnnnnn. ;)

I think Cinderella's Royal Table is our family's favorite. The princeses are wonderful, as is the Fairy Godmother and there is a boy charactor, too. The first time we went it was Peter Pan. This year it was Alladin and boy was he great! He talked about Abbo and how Cinderella wouldn't let Abbo in the palace. He even stopped back by on his way to break.

Just to give you an idea, we've been to see Pooh at the Crystal Pallace and at Artist's Point. Mickey at the Garden Grill. Minney at MGM. Seems to me there was one or two more, but they escape me now.

Good luck!

We have tried several different ones and I have to say we always have to go back to Chef Mickeys- it is the most upbeat fun meal for us!
The other really good dinner is Liberty Tree Tavern- similar characters and great food- fun atmosphere- in Dec. my family got to open the place for dinner, the kids rode through on horses yelling the characters are coming- what fun we had!

WE just had breakfast at Cindy's and it was the highpoint of our trip. We range in age from 78 to 9 and everywhere in between male and female, and everyone felt it was fantastic. The character interaction was great and the food was out of this world. We saw the Fairy Godmother, Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Jasmine, Aladin,& Snow White.

If you only do one, I would recommend Cinderella's Royal Table for brefex; Liberty Tree Tavern is great for an evening meal. Another truly fun experience, more so if you "join in", is 50s Prime Time Cafe' at Disney Studios. Don't forget, call at 7AM (actually start a few minutes before) exactly 60 days prior to wanting to dine at Cindy's as those priority seatings go like the wind and for the other dining experiences as well. You'll enjoy any or all of them.

1900 Park Fare is a wonderful character breakfast! There were quite a few characters including the Mad Hatter who rode his scotter around the restaurant and an old fashioned organ that blasted a tune periodically. Ms. Poppins herself stops at each table and will converse (that's a refreshing change) with you and your family. The food is some of the best breakfast fare we've ever had at Disney and they even have a made to order omelette bar that was really good.
