I am debating whether or not to try for ADRs for Chef Mickeys and/or Cape Mays breakfast.

I would like to think that my hubby and I are young at heart and would enjoy this...but my question is, do you ever see a couple without kids at these breakfasts? Would you do it if you didn't have kids?

I want to make my ADRs tonight, so any advice you have would be appreciated.

my DH and I will be dining child free at Ohana's best friends breakfast in september! I have seen many adults enjoying good food and characters at meals in the past.

:thumbsup2 Go, have fun and don't worry! who says a grownup can't enjoy some 1 on 1 time with stitch!?

My DH and I, who travel alone with the boys now in college(our ages 55 and 50--yes, he is the older one :lmao: ) do at least one if not two Character Meals every trip to Disney. This year we are doing two as my best friend and her DH are coming with us. We ALWAYS do Crystal Palace for breakfast because I love Pooh and friends (and DH loves Eeyore). We are also trying Cape May Cafe this year because we understand it is very good.

When Dh and I were on our disneymoon, we ate at 1900 Park fair, LTT, Crystal Palace and CRT and we didn't feel out of place one little bit:goodvibes

We always do at least three character meals and there are no kids in our group, the youngest is 28. So I say go for it! No one is going to be looking at you funny or ask you where your kid is. The characters are just as nice to the adults.

We're doing it for the first time this year. We've chosen Cape May Cafe for breakfast since we're staying at the Beach Club and wanted to eat at the resort at least once.

It certainly will be different for us -- but I still love seeing Minnie as much as I did when I was a little girl.:cutie:

Before we had our DD(3). My Dh and I always did character meals, they are so fun!!. I never felt silly either. We also always stood in line to get our pictures taken with the characters!! Have fun!!

DH and I have done the following character meals: 1900 PF, CM, LTT, CRT and CP. Just me and him and we have a great time! :)

DH and I go with or without the kids. I love the characters probably more then the kids right now (they are all teens) It's a highlight of any trip. We're doing the Liberty character meal this time.:cool1:

We have been that couple :) Last trip we did CP, CM and the dinner at CRT.

This time we are doing CRT breakfast, LTT, 'Ohana breakfast and Donald's Safari breakfast.

Don't sweat it, have fun!

You guys have convinced me:cool1: :cool1:

Thanks so much

And I too LUVRE pooh bear, so I am thinking about the Crystal Palace too!!

Thanks for all your replies

DH and I did several character meals during our honeymoon. We've also done character meals with 6 adults during our semi-annual family vacation to WDW. One of our favorite trips involved a group of friends... 12 adults in all.. and yes, we did 2 character meals on that trip! We're kids at heart... why not enjoy seeing all of the characters! It's also a great way to get pictures without having to wait on long lines!

DH and I began our anniversary day with a breakfast at Crystal Palace. I didn't even think about the fact that I didn't have any children with me.....BUT IT SURE WAS NICE!!!

Oh yes...

I forgot, we'll actually be doing 2 character breakfasts on our trip.

We'll be at Cinderella's Royal Table on our anniversary. And since I was once a princess on that day...:bride: , I should fit right in!

We ate at quite a few character meals on our honeymoon and before I had kids I went to WDW several times with just adults and we did a bunch then. Go and have FUN!!!!
