i was about to make a booking for crystal palace at MK at 08h00, then the cm said we live too far from MK (we will be in POP), and that there is no bus that operate this early, i said then i can drive to TTC, she said the monorail is not open until 8h00.
i was so mad, i then asked, is it mean that i cannot have any breakfast if i am not living in GF, she said she is just suggesting!!!
i then said if i can have breakfast in 1900 park, then park the car in GF, she said NO, because i am only allowed to park for two hours, so once i finsh the breakfast i have to drive my car back to pop and then take a bus to MK

That is just crazy!
Why doesn't Disney Dining get a clue!

I think a Mod should make this thread a sticky at the top of the restaurant boards, I think it would help everyone!!

I posed this question on the transportation board and got one response. I need to get from Poly to Epcot for an 8:40 PS at PSB. The reply on the other board said we needed to allow an hour to get there, mostly due to the walk from the Epcot gate to Norway. But I'm just trying to confirm that the monorail to Epcot will be running around 7:30 a.m. on a non early entry day at Epcot? Anyone?

That is aggrivating to hear that Dining told you that. Buses WILL be running from Pop to MK for breakfasts. And the Monorail starts at 7am, daily.

How does that CM expect folks to get to 8am breakfasts at the Magic Kingdom if there are no buses or monorails running? *sigh* I really wish they'd update thier information.

The first Epcot Monorail will be somewhere around 8:00am. Catching that one, or the one after it will get you there in PLENTY time for your breakfast.

CHIP N' DALE EXPRESS: Thank you so much for the information!!! We are staying at AKL and have a 8:10 priority seating at the character breakfast at AK. Now I know for sure we can get a bus beforehand. What time do you suggest we go to the bus stop?

Thanks for the info about bus transportation. I made an 8:20 PS at the AK and the rep strongly suggested I drive. I'm staying at the Beach Club, so I understand that the buses start at 7:00/7:15. Are they as regular as the park buses, so if I miss one at 7:15, another will arrive shortly? What time should I be at the bus stop do you think? I can see myself stressing out about this? Thanks for the help!!

We are staying at POFQ we also have a PS at the AK and it was also suggested that we drive. We were told to plan for 45min travel. Does this now mean that we don't need to drive??

Do the bus signs say "MK Breakfast" or something similar so you know they will take you to the breakfast?

I think all this means that I want to make certain we get the first bus for the Animal Kingdom!!!! If not, we'll hop in the car.

We recommend being out at the bus stop 45 minutes prior to your priority seating time. This will allow ample time in case you just missed the bus, or if you need to make any connections. Remember to always let the driver know what breakfast you are going to. Chances are, it won't take the full 45 minutes, and you'll arrive early. (By the way, if you do end up driving, the same advice for time applies...)

Destination signs on the bus will read whatever theme park area they are covering. For example, "Magic Kingdom" would cover Chef Mickey's. "Disney-MGM Studios" would cover Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club.

Tyler- great info!!!
We are staying at POFQ and have a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Is there a bus that takes you directly to Contemporary or do we need to go to MK and hop on the monorail/walk?

Tyler,

Another Breakfast Transportation Question. I need to be at Pop Century at 7:30 am from Ft. Wilderness.

I'm thinking I should take the earliest Studios Bus, then try to snag a reverse Pop Century Bus.

Or should I get over to the MK and try to get a Pop Century bus from there, since they start 1/2 hour earlier

FYI, I have my own internal Ft. Wilderness transportation, so I just need info from either Settlement or Outpost.

Is that possible??

It depends on the time of the breakfast. Typically, only the early buses will be able to take you directly to the Contemporary, however, it never hurts to mention your destination to the driver. However, it's best to plan on taking the Monorail from the MK.

That's going to be a tricky one. Taking the Studios bus from the Settlement will be the best option, but I can't guarantee that they'd be able to get you to Pop by 7:30.

Going to the MK wouldn't be a good idea, as they wouldn't have a Pop bus that early.

Am I correct in assuming that we might be able to walk in solitude through the parks (limited) if we get early PS's for a restaurant? If this is correct I am going to sleep with dreams of sitting near the Castle with an unobstructed view, wandering through the World Showcase with just a few of my best DIS friends, walking the trails at AK (????) before the elephant awakes, ummmm,.is there an early breakfast at MGM anywhere? Too much to contemplate and I do not even like breakfast, but I could learn.

DD and I were the first ones at MK last year and I was able to get her picture -- with no one else in the picture -- in front of the castle. I wished she moved that fast in the mornings getting ready for school!! DS and DH do an early ps at AK and then make it to Dino with no one else in line.

Is the info Tyler mentioned at the start of this thread still accurate? I was just wondering since it was originally written several months ago... We're staying at POFQ next month and need to get to Chef Mickey's early one morning, so I just wanted to make sure!

Thanks!
