DW and I never had to know this before, or didn't notice, but when getting autographs from the characters do you need to supply the pen/sharpie? We are going in September with our soon to be 2 DS and might have him give the autograph books a try.

Some characters will have their own pens, but to be safe, having your own would be best.

Have fun!:D

Though sometimes a character's "handler" has a pen, it's best if you supply your own. Fat pens are best because they're easier for the characters to grasp. They sell cute character pens for about $3 in the parks, but you can find them cheaper at Wal-mart, etc.

By the way, my mom grew up in Lorain...I grew up in Amherst. I live in Cincinnati now.

I hope you have a wonderful trip in September!

The CMs prefer not to lend pens as many walk away and the one time I used one I felt like I was under watch. Bring a few fat/big pens because in the scramble to get in line quick I can never find one. Sharpies go through the books so not a great choice although we have had the characters sign hats and soccer balls with one.

Thanks for all th fast replies.

Did you graduate from Amherst? If you are the same age as Kevin (April 2003 - Kevin's 32nd bday), you and my brother are the same age. We grew up in downtown Amherst, across from Shupe School.
