Character autographs prior to boarding

Are there any characters around prior to boarding the ship? If so do they sign autographs or is it strictly during autograph sessions while on board?

GOOFY, CHIP AND DALE CAME OUT WHILE WE WERE WAITING TO BOARD 12/03

THey do have several characters come out prior to boarding. For some reason, on most of my DCL cruises, it has been Goofy, and I think I remember seeing Donald, and Chip and Dale.

I know they do photo opportunities, but I can't remember if they did autographs. It's neat getting a photo with them in the Terminal by the ship model.

We saw Goofy. Set up camp near the model for photos and did some mingling.

DD and I had our picture taken with Mickey in front of the model last summer.

DH really hopes we get to see Goofy this year. He loves Goofy.

We had Pluto last year and this year we had Donald Duck

Did they do autographs or just pictures?

Minnie Mouse came out for pictures but no autographs but she came and was gone in no time. We were so lucky to squeeze in that picture of her!!

09/02 Wonder ... Capt. Mickey was in the terminal ... the GK weren't interested in standing in line to see him ... they wanted to hurry up and board the ship ... so I don't know if it was photos and autographs or just photos.
