Changing trash and towel day?

I've read recently of people doing this. Was this luck or can you do this w/o any problems? Is this a common request? It seems the trash and towel day, especially for a studio needs to be moved up a day. Them coming in the day before we leave doesn't help quite as much. Would you request at check in or with MS prior? Just curious...

I've done it by calling housekeeping directly the day before I wanted it changed. Depending on when I wash towels, it is usually better on day 3 or 5 rather than 4 (6 night stay).

Call housekeeping, and change up the days - should be fine

We have called the day we arrived and changed our T&T days and full cleaning days around with no problems.
