How many times can you change resorts in one trip? The reason I ask is that we are going down in December and my family is having a BIG argument on where to stay. The choices are DSS-TT, AKL & WLV. Can we stay at all three (3 nights each) or is this asking too much? We have always stayed in one resort each time we go but was thinking of changing half way through but cannot decide on just two. HELP!!!!! :confused3

We are switching resorts on our upcoming trip. However, 2 resorts is my limit in a trip and we have to stay at least 4 nights at each.

You could do it but you will be packing and unpacking all the time. Wouldn't it make sense to do 2 resorts this time and then do the other one on your next trip?

Also, what is DSS - TT :confused3 That is one acronym I have never seen before!

We switched twice for our 8 day trip last time, staying at BWV, then VWL, then SSR. I made some changes to our trip about two months out and that was the best they could do. Plus we traveled WED to WED and needed to stay in a studio for the weekend else we would not have had enough points.

My boys were three and one at the time. We loved being near different things at different times and really planned our schedule around where we were, for the most part. We walked to Epcot and HS the first three days, spent most of the weekend at MK, and did AK, DTD, and repeated some of our faves while at SSR.

We were lucky as our room was ready each time. On one side note without a rental minivan to drive directly to each place we probably would not have liked it all. The time to transfer us, all our stuff and the small children could have been a logistical nightmare.

We actually unpacked very little and everyone had their own suitcase so that it was easier to locate items. Since we were on the Dining Plan too we did not spend much time at the resort, save nap and nighttime.

It really made for a fun trip. We affectionately called this trip our DVC tour. :) If you or someone in your party is not a high stress person I'd say go for it. You might like it like we did. Or you could hate it and never try that again. Have fun!!

We did three resorts (3nights Poly/2 BCV/3 AKL) and it wasn't bad-- I'd prefer to switch resorts just once (but it was a last minute trip). We enjoyed just hanging out at the resorts, by the pool. Just locked up a back pack in the gym and went to the pool..changed up and headed off to a park for a bit then off to the next hotel.

We did have to carry our backpacks to the park (but after we changed it was just our swimsuit, sunscreen etc). We sort of live out of our suitcases anyway.

We didn't park hop and it was great to stay close to each park.

I do triple splits all the time but I find a 2/5/2 is much better

My guess? Disney's Saratoga Springs - Treehouses???? In other words, SSR (Saratoga Springs Resort) or THV (Treehouse Villas).

Your biggest problem will be availability at those resorts. VWL is the smallest and the hardest to get during the holidays.

DDS - TT is Saratoge Springs Tree Tops

We're staying at 3 resorts this summer:

1 nights at POP
