Changing Reservations and DME questions

A few questions that I am hoping somebody can help me with...

My sister and her friend are going to Disney in about 3 weeks, and already have a reservation for Saturday-Tuesday. Just today I decided to join them (yay!) and will be going Sunday-Wednesday. The plan is to extend our current reservation by a day (it is under my sister's name anyways). Is it difficult to add a person a day late and have a different one leave a day early? Does this mess up potential DME reservations? (Do those need to be booked with coordinating check in/out days?
To clarify-Sister (who has reservation) will be there Sat-Wed
Friend will be there Sat-Tues
I will be there Sun-Wed

We will all need magical express for our flights. Tell me this is less complicated than it seems?

It's fine. They'll enter the date and flight number for each person individually.

You won't have any problem scheduling DME for everybody's flights. My two sisters were staying with us in a 2br villa and were arriving separately from us. One of them was coming in the next day. The other was leaving on a later flight then ours but asked to be on an earlier bus so that she could wait at the airport with us. DME handled it all without a problem.

This part is a little trickier. Disney won't add a person for just part of the stay. They will ask you to put everyone on the reservation for the length of the reservation. If your sister has to pay the fee for an extra adult in the room, then when the friend checks out a day early, they can refund the one day's extra fee. I'm not sure how they work it if you are coming in one day late, though, as far as the fee goes.

Last October I added my daughter to our reservation because she was going to spend one night with us. They made me add her for the entire five days we were there. I went to the front desk when she checked out to make sure they removed the extra charges, and they did it without any problems. But she was also arriving the same day we were, rather than one day later.

Thank you! That is all very helpful to know-I wouldn't even think to have them remove the charges after the fact! So when the friend leaves, we should send her down to the desk to check out personally?

If I recall correctly, it is an extra $10 or $15 for an additional person in a room, right? Seeing as I decided today to go to WDW in 3 weeks, I figure that's a small price I don't mind paying
