Changing Reservation to Bounceback?

Here's the deal...

Heading to WDW at the end of November for a trip with my kids. Hoping to find a Bounceback deal while there for my Solo trip next May.

Check in date for November trip is the 29th.

My ADR date for my Solo trip is Nov 18.

Here's the question....

If I book a preliminary reservation in order to secure my ADRs, can I then change to a Bounceback without losing my ADRs?

Oh, also necessary information- I already have tix for the solo trip so only need an RO.

I don't think ADR's have anything to do with your resort reservations. So I do not think it would matter if you change your reservation. I'm not 100% sure but from what I have read one has nothing to do with the other...

ADR aren't tied to your reservation, so changing or canceling won't affect them.
