Changing my user name

Can I do this? I don't like my user name. I want something catchy, and unique and not boring like it is now. Any suggestions? Can I change it without losing all my CP stuff?

I know normally it can't be changed, but have seen names changed here over the years. Not sure of the how they determine who though. Every so often they let one change.

I just re-registered a few years ago after a spat with a loonnngggg time poster here. Kinda neat coming back as a newbee. (Wasn't you Dan)

I too had hoped to change my user name, but since you would have to re-register I won't. I do not want to loose all my post and have to start over.

That's what I figured. There is no way I want to lose my tags. I guess I'll just be boring forever. Oh well.

I'm right there with ya. When I first registered here I didn't relize how much time I would be on the DIS. I wish I would of signed up with a better user name also. But I have over 800 posts under my belt and have been tagged and I don't want to lose that.

Well that's interesting to know..........not that I want to change m user name as I quite like it, but I did have a feeling it was a re-register thing.
