If you need to change your southwest flight to a day early how does that work????

When you are on the southwest website and looking at your flight information (with your confirmation #), there will be a change option on the upper right right side near reservation/confirmation number. From there, follow the steps that it guides you through. If the new flight is *not* web only, you can also do it over the phone.

Changes are free. that being said, if you booked using a credit card on a 'wanna get away' fare and the price is less, they will credit your RR account the difference ( no actual refund to your cc). You can use those credits against future flights. If the new flight is more, you will be charged the difference.


Business class tickets are different.
