Changing flight with rapid rewards points????

Is it true that if you want to change a flight that you booked with SW rapid rewards points it is easy to do? Do I call or do it online myself?
I'm about to book tonight (for June)but I've been afraid I will want to change the dates or cancel altogether and go later. Do the points really get redeposited in your account?

I just did this online myself about an hour ago! I noticed our flights for August went down quite a bit in points. So I just changed them all. Took about 5 minutes and was super easy. Points credited back as soon as I was finished! Saved just under 11000 points!

I too changed our SW points flights just this Monday - I booked eight tickets Monday morning with the wrong departure date, and realized my mistake about an hour afterward. It took a while as I had to change them one by one, but all I did was hit the "change" button, delete the incorrect flight, select the new flight - done. My points balance was the same after I finished, no fees. Lots to luv with SW!
