This question is in anticipation of free dining being announced this week when we haven't decided how long we can stay. Am I better to

1. Book our minimum length and then try and add days later or
2. Book our longest length and cancel days if needed?

The biggest problem with option 2 is the disappointment of canceling Disney days.

TIA

Option 2 is definately what you want to do. You may not be able to add days later if all the FD allotted rooms are booked at that resort.

I agree with PP. Option 2 is a better choice. You can always cancel some of the days but, you may not be able to add days to a current ressie later on if all of the free dining rooms are already booked. It seems like the free dining rooms are going to be gobbled up fast! We had to change from standard view to garden view at POFQ yesterday when we added the Disney Visa free dining offer to our reservations because they had no standard view free dining rooms available.
