I am taking my niece in November. We already have our ADR's for everything she wanted but now her mom found out she is able to join us in WDW. I added her to my resort ressies but how difficult is it for dining? If we go to our ADR for two will they allow 3 if the 3rd is on the resort reservation?

I don't think it really matters how many people are on your resort reservation. A table for two most likely will not have room for a third person.

I would try to change them online myself first. Book new and drop as needed. If that did not seem to be working I would call and see if someone can help you out over the phone.

The number of people on your resort reservation has no bearing on dining reservations. You will need to try and change your reservations to include everyone because of fire code regulations or face the slight risk that one person in your group will not be seated if the restaurant is at capacity or for some other reason. We were at one Disney restaurant that was running far behind schedule and in an effort to catch up they were not seating anyone not on a reservation.

Going from 2 to 3 you will need a larger table. The restaurant 2 tops are small and tables are often close together so restaurants will not seat 3 at a 2 top.

Call to see if you can add the third person to your reservations. For the ones that cannot be modified you will have to start checking online to see if a reservation for 3 (or 4) comes up. If you book for 4, as long as at least one person shows up for the reservation you will not be charged for the "missing" 4th person. When plans change, people will cancel because of the no show penalty.

You can also subscribe to the cancellation thread for your month, but be sure to read the rules in the first post:
