Changing a MYW ticket to a DVC AP

Hi there - My DH and I are new DVC members. We have a non-DVC trip planned in 5 days. We purchased MYW park passes that will have Disney Dining attached. We want to convert our passes to DVC annual passes while we are there. Will we have any problems doing this? Do we have to wait until our last day because of our Disney Dining? We will be so rushed on our last morning because I am sure that Magical express will pick us up early. I am thinking that since we must have at least 1 day left on our passes when we convert, that I should immediately upgrade our passes from 4 day passes to 5 day passes when we arrive. Can I mail in our passes after we arrive home (i.e. before the 14 day window closes) and get our passes upgraded this way to DVC AP's??????
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.

Just go to any Guest Services location as soon as you arrive and tell them you want to upgrade to a DVC AP...they will handle the transaction for you and your dining plan will still be intact. What you will end up with is a room key that has the dining plan on it, and an AP. Also, if you bought the package prior to any ticket price increases, then go through the turnstiles first to activate it as that will give you today's value vs. the cost back when you purchased the package.
