Can I add a night or change the dates of a trip I have booked with a PIN if there is availability at the resort?

What about if I want to make changes after the PIN has expired?


I have never booked with a PIN and never made changes to a reservation before. We are fairly certain about our dates and I would like to book ASAP.

Yes, as long as it is within the origional restrictions, things like dates and origional booking room catagory. Don't let the pin expire, get your best guess booked and make changes later. You will regreat it if you don't.

I'm definitely going to book it. DH and I were discussing dates last night and we're definitely going to go during the timeframe I plan to book. If anything we would just add a few more days to the beginning or end of the trip, so I was just hoping they would be glad to make changes that got us to stay longer.

We are planning to do the YES program for the kids, so if they didn't get into the classes we were hoping we might have to move the trip up a few days to get into the classes available the week before. We also may want to add a few non-park days during our trip to visit with family, but they haven't decided yet.

When you book, just make sure you ask about the dates associated with your pin so you will know the flexability you will have.

As the pp said, you can make any changes as long as you are within the dates of the PIN and the resort you want is available. But one thing I wanted to mention is when you first book, include any extra nights you think you might want, as it's alot easier to subract nights you don't need than to add on later. Availability is hit or miss, especially when it comes to discounts, so if you're looking at say a 7 night stay but a 10 night stay is possible, I would book the 10 nights now and take them off later if you see a longer trip doesn't fit your schedule or you need to shift your trip dates one way or the other. I booked with a pin for last year's trip and made so many changes after the pin expired and it was fine! As long as you stay within the dates the pin covers, and there is availability at the resort, you're good!
