I just saw that they are adding a Trader Sam's Grog Grotto to the Poly!! I love the Poly, but it's a little too busy for my taste as a place to call "Home". We bought points at VGF and stayed there for the first time last December, and it was remarkably quiet…almost hushed. It was beautiful, but honestly, one of my favorite things was a quick trip out of a side door that hooked us up to a path to the Poly. A mere 9 minute walk landed us at the Ceremonial House! It was wonderful to take a lovely stroll in the morning over to Kona Cafe for breakfast!!

I can't wait for the new Tiki Bar, I'm already thinking how nice it would be to walk to the Poly in the evening and having some drinks/appetizers and watching Wishes on the Poly beach!

Poly points may not be the greatest choice for us, but let me tell you, the VGF was a perfect option for someone that wants the best of both worlds!!

this is one of the great benefits of being a DVC member; what a wonderful way to enjoy both resorts - sort of reminds me of our stays at Beach Club Villas where we would walk across to the Boardwalk and enjoy the night-time vibe.

Feel the same way way about out BLT points. Enjoy the monorail ride to/from, but like being able to walk to MK.

Trader SAMs at Poly will be great for a night cap when returning from Epcot. Hop off the monorail, have one drink or a Dole Whip and then back on the monorail back to BLT.

You have the best of many worlds at BWV & BCV!! I love being able to walk to EPCOT and the BWV/BCV area is lovely for strolls in the evening! We still need to get to Jelly Rolls!

:yay::yay: Can't wait, it sounds like a fun place, and the appetizers they showed from the one at Disney Land and speciality drinks look really good. I did notice though that the one at Disney does not allow children (under 21) after 8:00pm. It'll be interesting to see if the one at WDW follows suit.

I hope it does. It would be really nice to have an adults only place to relax in the evening.

I think it would too…and it'd be really nice if it stayed open later too…at least midnight. There're not too many adult-only areas around the resorts. One thing we were really pleasantly surprised about on our Disney cruise last December was how many areas they had for adults only. I'm glad they are recognizing that many adults without kids are big fans of Disney too! :woohoo:

Trader Sams will be a great addition to a "monorail pub crawl"!

Trader Sams, Mizners, Top of the World! :thumbsup2

We sat down at the VGF with a rep and I almost bought some points, but I am really waiting for the Poly. I just love it over there. Although I keep going back and forth.
