Changes after booking?

I have a room only reservation throug AAA for November. We plan to change to a package sometime after we book airfare and can firm up our travel dates. If we book a package without any promotion, and a code or promotion comes out later, can we modify our reservation to take advantage of the better deal? I am particularly thinking about a promotion like free hopping for the price of non hopping tickets. I don't expect that there will be any free dining during Thanksgiving.

The free upgrade on tickets were for Jan-March. I don't think there will be to much of a deal around Thanksgiving, unless you are going the week after.

Yes, you can modify a reservation to take advantage of discount offers. I specifically asked when I booked my room for November. I am hoping it's free park hopping, I hold little hope for free dining that time of year.
