Changed package price

I booked a trip on Friday using a pin code I got for December (free dining). I received an email with all the information with the price and what was included. Now this morning I got another email and the price was over $200 less.

Has anyone ever had that happen?

You mean, other than when they send the email that has your package price less the $200 deposit?

Here's hoping they lowered the room rates for that time period and your lower rate sticks. Seems to me it should if you have an email and all.

Now, if they would just lower the rates for early August on my package deal.

Yes, I booked with the free dining email for 12/17 to 12/26 and my price was 3773.67. I called yesterday to change from 8 day hoppers to 10 and my price went down to 3413.43. I am not complaining at all.....under $3500 for 2 adults, 2 teens at a moderate with 10 day tickets and dining!

Just make sure everything stayed the same on your reservations other than what you made changes for....and they didn't change anything else.

The only thing that changed in our case was from 8 day hoppers to 10 days. I have checked and double checked.... I even went online and priced it without free dining and it comes up almost to the penny now....

HA!!! Ha hahahahahahaha! And add a yay to that. I just went in and checked my reservation, and it's $360 LESS than my original fee. (yay yay)

My dates are 11/24-12/6, free dining code. When I ran the numbers myself before booking, the discount broke down on only giving me 9 days of free dining instead of 12. I questioned it, but didn't get any satisfactory answer. I assumed that maybe I didn't get the free dining for Thanksgiving or the day before and after or something. But NOW, it breaks down perfectly, giving me all 12 days free dining! (woohoo!!!) Thanks for posting about this, or I wouldn't have checked back.

I just checked my reservation online and I definitely was not touched by the magic discount fairy. Oh, well, my dates are in August. I wonder if everyone who had a package in December got their rates lowered.

Wow I'm surprised and happy for you for 12 days of FD. When we booked our FD, we were told there was a 10 day limit per ressie for the free dining promo. I keep checking my reservation but not pixie dust for me either.

Thanks. I called late last night and added a day (no issues!) so now it's 13 days of free dining. I am already making my restaurant lists even though I can't make ADRS for another three months.

I could swear I read on here somewhere that you can normally do 14 days of free dining?

DH said I was mistaken...we initally tried to book a 15 day trip and was told there was a 14 day limit. So sorry for the bad info on my part.

I wasn't touched by a discount fairy. My December FD package price is the same as originally quoted. Oh well...
