Change of bus service

We pay plenty in our annual dues for "transportation." Check your financial statement!! About $.75 per point as I recall. Just do the multiplication.

That means we should NOT have these problems.

I think the complaints should be made to DVC and THEY should be our advocate here.

We stayed at Hilton @ DD last feb (used up some old Honors pts). Their bus service was lousy. Met up with some friends from back home, they told us about the OKW bus and then transferring to DD bus. We followed MANY people that morning and evening to/from the hotels.

After one day of that, we used our car and paid the parking fee. You just waste so much time changing buses and trying to 'trick' the system.

I would agree with checking for resort IDs

Anyway, back to DVC, no more Hilton!!!

I also would be very upset if I had to wait till the fourth bus to get on when I knew people who just wanted to go to DTD were taking my spot.

Here's a question. The OP, I believe, said this was at the end of the night. How late does the parking lot stay open at the TTC? I thought the buses stopped running 30 minutes after park close? When were these people going to come back and get their car? Seems fishy to me. I don't understand why they don't charge for parking at DTD just like they do at the theme parks. This would take care of alot of the people who park there to avoid paying the fees. For those who were actually shopping or dining they could simply have their ticket validated at the restaurant or store.

As long as they have a valid admission medium that includes use of all Disney Transportation (which I think is pretty much every ticket Disney sells), it isn't "your" spot.

I'd have to imagine that this would be a logistics nightmare from Disney's POV, and a real disincentive for day shoppers. Plus, there's still a loophole: just park at DTD, buy a 49-cent trinket, get validated, then hit the park. Plus, I doubt that Disney thinks that this is a unique problem; park closing overwhelms the WDW Transportation to every destination - OKW is simply one of many.
