Change fee on Delta Song?

Does anyone know what the fee is to change your flight on Delta song? Would it be the same as for Delta? What about just cancelling a flight? Do they let you cancel one flight (going) but not the return flight?

Any sort of change to a Song reservation will cost you a $25 change fee, including cancellation. At parent Delta, this fee is $50.

On Song, you will pay the $25 change fee, PLUS any fare increase that has happened since you initially booked.

It sounds like what you want to do is cancel your flight to your destination and only fly the home bound portion.

That isn't going to work. Changing and canceling are different. If you cancel the first flight your round trip airfare goes away and you will then need to buy a one way fare home. Now that may not cost more then your original round trip or it could cost LOTS more. Just depends on the airlines.

Also, do not just not show up for your first flight and then try to take the flight home. It won't be there. When you don't show for the first flight the reservation is cancelled.

This past Oct when I changed DHs roundtrip Delta ticket to one way (he drove down to FL) it ended up costing me an additional $16 (yes, sixteen) dollars - w/the change fee and the difference in price
but I did change it so his return flight wouldnt be cancelled
