Hello,

This ismy first post, but I've been luking here for some time and received some great tips. We are having a Disneymoon mid August and was wondering how easy it is to get upgraded to a king size room upon arrival? My familt booked this trip through travlocity, so Disney reservations said they couldn't help us, and travelocity doesn't offer kingsized rooms at POR. Any advice?

You can ask at check-in, but there is no guarantee so go in hoping for the best, but expecting the worst.

Has it been noted that this is you Honeymoon? That may help to swing things in your favor - but again, no guarantee.

Just as an FYI, anytime you book through a travel agent, they "own" your reservation and you can't make any changes directly with Disney. This holds true pretty much anywhere. When hubby and I were planning a trip to Sandals Jamaica, a family friend who is a TA handled the reservations and when she made a mistake and I tried to fix it directly with Sandals, they wouldn't allow it. That's why sometimes, it's just better to book direct unless you have a TA that you really trust.
