Chances of getting a ressie for May

Friends of ours are buying resale DVC (they just sent off their closing documents). They have points they have to use my July I think. They are hoping to go in May. (hoping for a 1 br (or studio) May 23-30)..Do you think they will be able to get a ressie? Their points will expire so they are not picky on the resort.

That's Memorial Day weekend, it's going to be tough.

I did a quick check on the member website, SSR has a 1 bedroom. SSR has a studio for all nights except 5/27. The other resorts have availability for some nights but not all.

I just booked for the first weekend in May so "May" is an option, but Memorial Day is harder IMHO.
