Chances of BOG walk up for dinner

At 180 days out I tried to book BOG for 2 people for dinner in February and it was already booked. I've been trying to check back for cancellations but I still cannot get in.

I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck going up to the podium at 4 when the restaurant opens for dinner and getting in? I'm not hopeful as I have to think there aren't many last minute cancellations at such a popular restaurant....

We went during the busy season and walked up with only about a 35 minute wait. They did say it could be up to an hour and asked us to remain on the bridge though.

From what I have heard, they keep a certain number of tables for walkups right now.

I was there on the 6th and they were turning away anyone who didn't have a reservation. People couldn't even cross the bridge. The restaurant was packed though and it was right after Wished was over.

I do hope you make it though, it's a wonderful experience!

We were there in December and we had a 4pm ADR (right when they open). We sat right in front of the check in podium and I heard 17 people get turned away that did not have reservations. They said if you do not have a reservation, you will not get in. I would say there's a very, very slim chance you would be able to get in but worth a shot. Maybe wait until close to the fireworks?

I can't tell you about the walk-up thing but I was able to find a ressie at around 3 or 4 months out just by hawking the website a lot. I was also flexible on which evening during our stay and the time. I checked all hours. We tend to eat late anyway so when I found an 8:30 opening I was all over it. I also had the same kind of luck getting into Ohana on a previous trip (over spring break). I checked often and for the later times. When we got to BOG a couple of weeks ago to check in there was a realllllly long line to check in. I think people waited to show up for their reservations until after Wishes was over and then everybody showed up all at once. They were very diligent though in walking through the line over & over to make sure that everyone in line already had a reservation. I don't think they were accepting walk-ups at that time. We were probably in line 15 min. just to get to the check-in desk.

I got in twice with walk ups.

First time I got to the podium at 3:15 and the cast member told me to come back at 3:45. We were seated by 4:15 or so.

The second time, which was 4th of July week, I went to the cm to ask about the lunch line and the cm said we have a dinner ressie for 4:15 if you are interested!

So most definitely try!

I actually like it more for lunch! They have the same desserts and a great menu.

I went on the website last night to try and get in from 8/10-8/19 and got nothing. A couple hours later, I went on the app and got a 6:10pm spot on 8/14 that hadn't shown up earlier. So I'd say to just keep checking.

As for walking up at 4, a friend told us just that. He said if you get there when they open, they will seat people without reservations. As long as you don't mind having dinner at 4:00 take a shot (if you don't get an ADR).

I was there during Christmas week, while waiting, I saw a large number of people requesting walkups, and overheard the CM say it would be a 1-1.5hr wait. I'm sure they would be able to accommodate walkups, but you'd have to wait.

went last august and whilst waiting to hand my ressie in several people came up and got in
this year i tried without luck to get adr for our trip but got lucky by checking back each day and got a cancellation for 6-15 so keep checking
