I've heard you can take a bottle of wine on board and to dinner. I want to take some champagne with us for a special occasion for dinner at Palo's. Is that also OK? Do I carry it or pack it?

Thanks!

Disney will allow you to bring alcohol (hard liquor, beer, or wine) onto the ship. I believe they ask that you carry it on rather than pack it but I have heard that people do both.

Keep in mind that if you bring a bottle of wine into any of the restaurants you will be charged a Corkage Fee of $15.00 plus gratuity for a total of $17.25 per bottle. The ship has a great selection of wine (both vintage and non-vintage) between their two wine lists (standard and reserve).

Depending on what champagne you wish to have with dinner, it may be worth-while to bring it on and pay the corkage fee. Other times it's cheaper to just buy from DCL.

It's Dom Perignon; even with the corkage fee/tip it is well, well below the Disney price for that wine. It's quite a special night so I wanted to bring this along! Thanks for letting me know it's OK in Palo's as it is in the other restaurants.
