LoL... sorry about the title I saw Shrek 2 for the hundredth time yesteray and that song always get stuck in my head :)

Anyways, I was just reading the updates on the Passporter website (got my 2007 deluxe passporter a couple weeks ago and LOVE it)...

Since I hadn't seen this posted anywhere else I figured I would share some of the updates that I read about-

1- El Rio De Tiempo at Epcot's Mexico pavillion re-opens April 2nd as "Gran Fiesta Tour- starring the 3 Caballeros". Now, Donald Duck , Jose Carioca and Panchito will be in a new film that accompanies an upgraded boat ride. The teaser given was: When Donald goes missing will the 3 Caballeros be reunited in time for their concert in Mexico City?
I am super excited for that one! We didn't get to go on El Rio de Tiempo our last visit because it was closes for refurbishment and this seems like an awesome upgrade! :thumbsup2

2- Alfredos Ristorante at Epcot's Italy pavillion will close at the end of July. It will be replaced with another Table Service but no details have been given out. If you have an ADR for after the closing date you will be contacted by a CM.
FYI- I have a July 24th ADR and I called jus to double check and they said I was good so it is probably a 7/31 close date. :stir:

3- Cinderellabration is replaced this year with the stage show Dream Along with Mickey
I am sure everyone knew this already but I didn't and I am so excited! I always wanted to see a Mickey stage show at MK!! :wizard:

4- Lithographs are no longer given away at Cinderella's Royal Table; Instead children ages 3-9 will get either a princess wand or a prince sword (girls and boys respectively) :princess:

5- Ohana breakfast is now called "Ohana Best Friends Polynesian Character Breakfast" and features Lilo, Stitch, and Mickey (usually Pluto as well but no more Minnie) :earsboy:

6- Coming 2008 a new attraction called Toy Story Mania will hit MGM and DL. Guests will be welcomed by an interactive Mr. Potatoe Head and then use 3D glasses on a virtual carnival tour (combines the technology used in Turtle Talk with Crush and Buzz Lightyear's Ranger Spin) :3dglasses

Okay thats all I got! Figured I would share! :flower:

I'm very disappointed that Alfredo's is leaving Epcot. I love their fettuccini alfredo. I hope the replacement will still have that on their menu.

Thanks for the update.

I'm sad about Alfredo's too, I've never been! We didn't make it there last time and our next trip isn't until 01/2008 so I'll never get to go there. :sad2: Bummer. Well, I'll just have to hope that the new place opens by the time we get there!

I almost didn't chose Alfredos for our July trip but I am glad that I did because we missed some other things that are changing now- like we never did The River of Time and now its changed. I asked the CM I called about our ADR what would be in its place but they had no idea... I don't know if thats the truth or they just can't say. I figure that since this year is the 25th anniversary of Epcot they will have it done by the end of the summer because they will probably do something speciall after the YOMD ends. Like maybe this fall a little 25 on the Epcot ball or something like that, ya know?
