Cell phone ring tone "reactions"

Is it bad if I use the Imperial March for my own mother?
I too have the Monorail and many others like the exit music to the Pirates.
My alert for email is Shark Bait hu haha and my text message is Tinks sound when she waves pixie dust.
I use Jacks theme for my sister and use Perry the Platopus for my brother in law.
The wife uses Steam Boat Willie for her phone.

My best ring tone story...and I swear this is true...

During Bob's Mother's memorial service, one attendee's phone went off and it was "Another One Bites the Dust".

And the woman with the phone had the world's deepest purse. It seemed to ring for 5 minutes.

We were laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes.

After the service, Bob asked us what was so funny and when we told him, he laughed till he had tears in his eyes.

Ohhhh....my...

I would probably be totally shocked for about 10 minutes. And then laugh hysterically afterwards...

I've just got he Torchwood theme. I'm FINALLY getting a Droid, so I need to do some ringtone work soon. A colleague has one, and whenever she receives an email (and we are ALWAYS getting emails at work), it goes, "DROID"...

Im looking for the chimes that just precede the monorail announcement .. I always dig that sound but I havent found them yet..

My ring tone is the Mickey Mouse march. It has gone off at a meeting once or twice and it gets really strange reactions. I'm thinking maybe I should add Small World just to drive folks nuts ;)

:lmao::lmao: you made me spit my cereal out!! That is funny!!

I too had the monorail announcement as a text message alert. The funny part is when I was in the parks last December and riding the monorail when I received a text from my friend. The poor guy standing by the door thought it was going to open on him, and we were moving. Too funny!:rotfl2:

I have that one!

I have some Disney ones and I don't care what people think. It is a lot better than some ring tones I hear. Although my favorite one was I heard 'Baby Got Back' one time.

I am not that Tech savvy but I managed to get "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd & you got a friend for my two bff's. I tried for more but kept getting lost in cyber space. :lmao:Penny

I have "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from Lilo and Stitch as my ringtone. The adult reactions are more like Name that Tune game show, they know it but just not sure what song it is.

And as a substitute teacher the kids love to here it and it starts many Disney conversations. I know my phone should be off while at work, but sometimes I forget!

For awhile, as a joke, my husband set as my ringtone the Family Guy sequence where Stewie is trying to get Lois's attention by saying her name over and over "Mom! Mom! Mommy! Mommy! MAH!! MAH!!"

It finally got too annoying and I got my favorite 15 seconds of Illuminations as my ringtone.

I've had Pirates, When You Wish, and DH has the Star Tours chime as his txt alert.

My ring tone when someone calls me is the theme from Halloween 5, so sometimes if I am not expecting a call or my BlackBerry rings when I am a sleep I say to myself what's that noise and realize what it is.

When anyone from work calls, I use one of two ringtones. Hi Ho from Snow White ... but I could only get It's Home from Work I Go.

For some work people or those I generally try to avoid, I have some dialogue from Office Space (the part about needing him to come in and work the weekend). "Umm.. Yeah... I'm gonna need you to come in on Saturday"

I have Our Song for my husband

I have For Good from Wicked for my close friends.

I have Popular from Wicked for a general ring tone.

I use Soarin, the Epcot Entrance Music, When You Wish Upon A Star, and Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow for others.

I have kiss the girl for DW. Text BuzzLightyear no intelligent light down here, that get alot of looks at meetings for work. This is jack for everyone else.

I am loving this thread. I have a couple more that you guys reminded me of ;) I have from Office Space "Missing it Bob" -- "You've been missing a lot of work here lately. I wouldn't say I've been missing it, Bob." I like that one but like smphbear, I use "gonnaneedyou" for my ring tone for work most often. I also have You've lost that loving' feeling and You Can't Handle the Truth. The movie quotes are from MovieWavs.com.

But what I really wanted to share was this: DH is a police officer so my ring tone for him is Bad Boys - I know, not very imaginative. But all of the cops in their squad mess with each other and one in particular thinks he is "super cop". DH had me download the Bee Gee's song, "Stayin' Alive" but only the part that says -

Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk,
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk.
Music loud and women warm.
I've been kicked around since I was born.
And now it's all right, it's O.K.
And you may look the other way.
We can try to understand
The New York Times' effect on man.
Whether you're a brother
Or whether you're a mother,
You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.

So when "Super Cop" walked into roll call last week, DH played the clip as he walked in the room. And of course, the guy danced his way into his seat. Next week I'll download "Your so vain" for him.

My ring tone is called "old phone".

Ring....ring.....ring.....

That's it.

Custom iPhone ringtones beat all (especially when a lot of people I know have iPhones (when we hear the text chime, we all have a need to check our phones :rotfl:)

I did have The Bear Necessities sung by Bowling For Soup, and various songs from video games, and the Star Wars elevator music from Family Guy: Blue Harvest, but now I have some retro music from the Pokemon games, I couple people I know, the first time they heard it were like "OMG, that's awesome".

I did also manage to have custom text tones, my old iPhone was jailbroken, and had the Star Tours chime, along with "May I take the bird back to camp as my prisoner"...
