For all of us lovers of all things Disney - many of us have Disney ring tones on our phones. Has anyone else had some interesting reactions from friends or strangers upon hearing our ringtones. I has some strange looks Saturday when my cell went off with "Yo Ho a Pirate's Life" at church (not during a service for the record, I was working mom's resale sale). That is for my DH but I have many others. Each of my rings makes me smile - but makes others pinch their faces....so any funny stories out there??

I have the Geico commercial Ringtone, you know the one the CEO has that goes off in the men's room.

Ring dingy ding dingy doh! People always looks up and then I watch their face as it dawns on them! Really funny! It's obnoxious though, so only a few people have that as their ringtone. I wouldn't want that going off every two minutes! :rotfl:

I constantly get giggles when my ring tone does off, I have a few different one depends who's ringing. My main one is 'When you wish upon a star', but I have 'The wonderful thing about Tiggers' for my dad, and Pirates of the Caribbean for one of my friends.

I am trying to figure out a ringtone for my ex-boss, who seems to still have me on speed dial, and keeps ringing me in his pocket! Some sinister Disney song would be good....

I get strange looks when the Disney cruise line horn goes off. It is a ring tone for just one person in my address book, so it isn't my ring tone all the time.

My ringtone is Minnie Mouse saying..."Oh won't you please answer the phone. I wonder if it's Mickey calling." etc. Last week it went off during DS's karate class. The class is usually pretty loud, so I don't worry about putting it on vibrate. Ofcourse, someone has to call during the 4 seconds of quiet in the whole hour. The look on the teacher's face was priceless.

My best ring tone story...and I swear this is true...

During Bob's Mother's memorial service, one attendee's phone went off and it was "Another One Bites the Dust".

And the woman with the phone had the world's deepest purse. It seemed to ring for 5 minutes.

We were laughing so hard we had tears in our eyes.

After the service, Bob asked us what was so funny and when we told him, he laughed till he had tears in his eyes.

I don't literally LOL at many posts, but I honestly just crack up. Even after reading it three times it still made me chuckle.

I got a new BlackBerry last week, so I downloaded some funny ringtones.

*for everyday calls- the Timon and Puumba "Hula" number from Lion King. Lots of funny looks and chuckles from that one.

*texts- the beginning of a quote from the movie 300, "THIS...IS...SPARTA!!" except after "THIS...IS..." a deep voice cuts in and says "...a text message."

*emails- the old man in Monty Python's Holy Grail saying "I'm feeling better..." followed by, "No, you're not! You'll be stone dead in a moment!"

I also have Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life For Me, a POTC movie soundtrack medley, Bruce the Shark from Finding Nemo, That's How You Know from Enchanted, and the Star Tours chime for DH's texts.

I would be ever so happy if I could get my cell phone to ring like a "regular" phone.

And I know this sounds like I am not much fun (not, true! I can be both fun and funny), but I find some people's ringtones to be absolutley annoying!

On my BlackBerry one of my ring tones I downloaded was the Monorail door closing announcement which go off whenever I got an e-mail. Well during my internship at a Courtyard By Marriott I was in our break room and all of the sudden I am getting an e-mail because the Monorail announcement was playing, then one of my co-workers from the front desk asked me what was that. So I then had to explain it to her.

Me too! Sorta ... on my old phone, this was my text message notification. I have blackberry now and haven't downloaded it yet ... YET!

My phone plays the theme to the Godfather whenever my dad calls. Makes me smile every time. :rotfl2:

My ring tone is called "old phone".

Ring....ring.....ring.....

That's it.

I've got MSEP for my "normal" ringtone. When Val calls it plays "a whole new world".

As Disney mad as I am, it hasn't got my cell phone yet. I've got Supermassive Black Hole by Muse for everyone except for Richard who has How Far We've Come by Matchbox Twenty. I do have loads of Disney music in my iTunes though. And I create vacation cd's with a mix of regular and Disney music whenever we are in The World as I call it.

Mine sort of rings like a regular phone. It rings and then Goofy asks "Are you going to get that?" and it rings again and inbetween the rings, Goofy talks. It is cute and everyone that hears it likes it.

I also have the Soarin' theme for my husband's calls. I have only had one person comment about that. Most people don't have a clue...

:rotfl: That poor woman must of been so embarrassed!
