cell phone question..

I have a Pantech Duo, and I don't really like it.
-My charger is broken, so I'm having to use to computer adapter to charge it.
-My texting and calls are constantly messing up.
-It just randomly freezes up.
-The battery sucks.
-Bluetooth doesn't work.

They had a recall on them around here. So I can't go to AT&T and get another one. So I was just thinking about going to EBay or Amazon and ordering one.

Any idea's on a really good phone. I'm not to rough on them, but my phones always get dropped at least once a day. So I would need one that wouldn't break easily. I don't like qwerty keypads either. I would like to have a camera & bluetooth. I'm sorta picking about my phone's, sorry.. But any help?

What do you mean they had a recall and you can't go? If it's recalled you CAN go to ATT, mine was recalled ending in April and I just got a new phone.

Anyway, I like my LG Vu. It's all touchscreen but it is a very good phone.

i really like it.
and i've drooped it quit a few times on the concrete...other than a few scratches it still looks fine.

I meant they recalled my phone, so they dont have it in the store anymore. And I haven't gone to get a new one because I don't know what kind I want yet, thats why I made this thread. Sorry if I didn't make that clear earlier, lol.

And I don't really wanna get one from ATT, I'd rather get one from EBay that isn't as expensive as in the stores.

My bestfriend has the VU and I like it, but I can never get the touch screen, it's to complicating, lol.

My dad has the blackjack, and my mom use to have the Shine before she got an iPhone.

But I'm most likely going to get the Motorola Zine.

Woah, if they recalled your phone ATT is required to replace it/exchange it. Are you sure you're not confusing the Pantech Duo with the ATT Quickfire, I haven't heard of a recall for the Duo?

Oh, and DO NOT order from Ebay/Overstock/Amazon. I have a friend that has gone through tons of phones because she tried to get them cheap and they were all pieces of crap.

We always order our phones from EBay. We've only really had a problem once with a moto pebl. The screen was broken on it. But they let sent us a new one from no cost/shipping or anything. I guess you just have to know what your doing, ahh i dont know.

But the phone I have has been recalled only around here as far as I can understand. My sisters roommate went to their local ATT, to buy one and they said they're not selling it anymore due to a lot of problems. Everyone that has this phone has told me that its a crap phone.. i guess thats why they recalled them.

If I go into the ATT store, they'll let me exchange it for another phone?

If a phone is broken or has a recall, you can go back to the store and get a replacement phone for free.

For damaged phones, as long as there's no water damage or it's not obvious that you mistreated the phone, you will probably have to call ATT and tell them about your situation, then they'll send you a replacement phone in the mail, probably within 1 or 2 days.

For recalled phones, they should replace it in the store.

But in both cases, the company is required to fix/replace the phone for free because it is a problem on their end.
