Celebrity Apprentice 4 ~ No ADVANCED Spoilers ~

Did they air the rest of the episode?

I had to see who got fired. OK.

Thanks for the link. The breaking news was worth not seeing the end. I hope they reair the episode though. I would have liked to see how it all went down.

:surfweb: That web site is blocked here at work, so I can't access it. Bummer.

Is anyone willing to copy and paste the article into a PM or email for me? Thanks :)

I wouldn't have minded the interuption if the President had come right on but no, I had to listen to the stupid news people telling me the same thing over and over for almost a hour before he finally came on. I still don't understand why they had to tell me the same thing the President was going to tell me. Do they not think we can understand what he is saying?

Promo spot:

"W123 news was the first to let you know that blah blah blah blah"

It is a ratings thing and may appear in a promo spot at some point in the future.

Rather irritating. I was not up and have not watched my pre-empted recording just yet. But I hazard a guess that the speech was imminent, but just didn't happen as imminently as they thought. Thus--gotta keep chatting about it so as not to miss the golden opportunity.

And it all revolves around ratings.

How funny - was watching Access Hollywood Live with Billy Bush, and they just started to say the Donald and The apprentice was... and BREAKING NEWS
:rotfl:

Yes, we are now waiting for the President to bestow medals, and speak of the events of last night

(my understanding from the newscaster I was listening to was President Obama was making a few phone calls to dignitaries and that's why he was delayed in the announcement)

Really??!! He couldn't wait for 10 freakin' minutes!!!

I think Hope will go home.

WHY are these commentators talking? We don't need to see them talking. :sad2:

I watched commentators for 20 minutes and went to bed. I wasn't staying up to watch the President tell me something that I already knew from watching the commentators. I decided I would just get the details this morning since I knew they would be repeating themselves over and over today.

AOL has a blurb with a little over one minute of Trump firing Holly. While I would have preferred seeing all of the rest of the show, it will do. Maybe they will show the men and LaToya's comments and reactions at the beginning of the show next week.

I had a feeling he would be letting Holly go. Trump likes Star so she's going to have to mess up big time for him to let her go.

NeNe had it right last night but she does go on and on and on.......

I went to nbc.com and put in the whole episode and then skipped to about the last 15 minutes and watched from there. I managed to do it without having heard who had been fired.

That said, I think it was yet another firing based not on the task but on what will make for better ratings next week.

And I am not at all surprised that he brought LaToya back - the show is based on so many weeks and when Jose left and Marlee didn't allow no one to be fired that week it meant somewhere along the line the show would have to not fire someone or to allow someone back ( I figured Jose might come back) so the episodes would work out right time wise.

Bravo shows the current episodes in full, not sure what day of the week but I remember seeing last week's episode at some point over the weekend.

I know who was fired, but had to snoop around a little.

You can also go to NBC.com for full episodes.

I'm pretty sure when Marlee was the PM that she did make the guys go to the boardroom. IIRC the only thing she agreed to was for each team to keep the money they raised. However I cannot remember what guy went home. Maybe Mark?

That was the one with the art gallery and Richard Hatch went home for not getting enough donations.

Yes she did make them go - that was my point - sorry if I didn't spell it out correctly - but Jose HAD all ready gone home (that week and unrelated to the task) so that is what threw things off.

We watched it on nbc too..it was nice to skip to the end. I did think it was stupid of nbc to put who was booted in the same area where you go to watch the show. So I did know who was fired before watching it.

Thanks! I could remember it was the art gallery one but not who went home. My mind is not the steel trap it used be ;)

Ahh, okay, I may have misread it.

I don't mine he let LaToya come back but I was glad he said he wouldn't do it again. I would hate for that to become a regular occurance.

As I've said before, this is the first time I've watched from the beginning. I saw a couple of episodes with Joan Rivers. So for those who watch on a regular basis, does Trump usually not fire the project manager that loses? NeNe has lost both times she was project manager and she's still there, Richard Hatch didn't get fired when he lost as project manager. Some of the reasons he has used to fire people just seem far fetched to me.

To say that NeNe is a strong player is wrong, she is just vocal. She doesn't really seem to have any skills. I may not like Star but she does have some marketable skills, but she should have been fired for losing her task.

It doesn't seem that Trump wants the best person for the job but the best person for the ratings. Does he do this on the non celebertiy apprentice too? Just makes me think that Trump is really not good at business, he's good at getting noticed. Maybe that's why he likes NeNe. ;)

He fires who he wants to fire. If they happen to do a bad job on the project then he uses that as part of his excuse but he knows who he wants to stay and who he wants to go and he does like conflict so those people stay around for sure.
