I have stayed here many times generally with Spicey.

the villas are clean and nice. tile is on the floor except the bedroom.

the whirlpool tub is perfect for my height (65").

the balcony is screened in - so no bugs (although the love bug still got in).

Do they force you to sit through the 90-min presentation? We have stayed at Vacation Village at Parkway and have never had to sit through the presentation. Have you been to VV to tell how they compare? The pictures look good -- is this a new facility? Thanks!

no, it is not new.

you know most of the time they don't even call about the sales pitch.

sometimes you will find something in the stuff you got at the front desk. they offer is $120 to take the tour.

I got more calls from VV - plus a new offer each day. The last one was $500 to take the tour. It started with $50 and went up each day.:rotfl:

the staff really tries it best. I complainted about a roach (these things are all over Florida and Ala just about impossible to stop) - the next time (about 3 months later) they had closed that building and were definitely trying to get of the bugs. (the thing so bad about these - they don't generally live inside - they live outside but visit :scared1: for food).

I have also seem them at Disney, Marriott, Hilton - so the problem is Florida not bad housekeeping.:thumbsup2

So you have stayed at both. Which do you prefer? We have young children if that changes your answer any.

the swimming pools are probably easier to get to at VV.

CWR has only one - but it is never as busy as VV were.

if your kids love animals then CWR. If anyone has an allergic or is just afraid of them - then VV.

some of the kids would just watch Spicey I could feel the  . Only one person was

Pat, is that your mom and Spicey?

He just looks like he was a lovey lap cat:goodvibes

thanks for the pictures:)

:sunny:

yes that mom and Spicey! He was a little  never meet a stranger - loved everyone - as I say only one person at CWR - was :worried: :scared1: and we stayed there a bunch.

enough that the manager started to recognize us as repeat customer and stopped charging me for the $50 pet fee.
