Celebration of Harry Potter Films, Nov 11-13, at Islands of Adventure

I know, you are right...but still....kinda sad here.....I feel we are going there without really knowing if our dreams will come true ...We were SOOOOOO expecting this day...Also to know what to bring at the autograph session...now I have to take an item for all of them!! I dont want a regular pic that Universal gives away....maybe some character's wands or something llike that *SIGHS* =(

I'm excited about the release of the 6am open time for us all while it won't open until 9am for the general public. Well 8am for those onsite, but still 2 whole hours in the park before it opens everyday! That is nice. :woohoo:

Also the information about the event time is nice. That helps us know that it is in the park AFTER it closes, so we will get the whole HP section to ourselves. Hmm....maybe I'll get my main souvenirs then, since it won't be as crowded. I am looking forward to this vacation. :wizard:

I do wish there was more information, but really maybe it will come in the final confirmation on the 31st that we are now promised. That is only like a week and a half before the trip, so maybe they want to keep us in suspense awhile longer. Hopefully the wait is worth it. I'm a pretty positive person, so it takes a lot to really bring me down. Maybe that will save me from disappointment. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Oh and I think that the Customer service reps at Universal really don't have any information. They wouldn't be giving them all any info other than what we have since otherwise it would most likely leak out before they wanted it to. They are giving us info based on rumors and etc in the company probably. Most details are apparently being kept very secret until later on. I think it is to keep us in suspense until closer...also to maybe make it so they can change plans up until closer to the day of the stuff? LOL! Makes it easier for them. :rotfl:

The only facts that I've been given so far that are based on someone's knowledge from working the day of the ticket sales was that the people with the premiere tickets getting onsite hotel rooms was a glitch in their system, cuz they weren't suppose to allow it. Also that in the US there were only at the most 200 premiere tickets sold, and that he didn't know how many were available for other countries. :confused3 :confused3

I dunno if he knew for sure these things, but he did say it was a big thing about people getting onsite with the premiere tickets, cuz they weren't suppose to allow it. Also that they sold out in 15 minutes approximately, and he got many angry calls about people having their packages canceled before they could finalize and etc. :confused3

I would like to know just how many packages total they were selling(not just premier). Very curious to know just how many of us will be there.

yeah, i am glad about the 6am entry, however as we will be there for 12-16 nov, we will only get the early morning entry on 13th, as our flight doesn't land til 9am on 12th -- but still 2 whole hours in the park ahead of the others is great... and since it's open so early, that gives us heaps of time during the day to get to see/experience it all.

hopefully more info coming in the email on 31st october -- i kinda feel like they're dribbling the info out in dribs & drabs, but still..it is nice to know where to go to get tickets and so on and so forth...

maybe we should all do the LGMH like they do at DLR and WDW so we can identify other DISers...

Oh good point! I never thought of that. I wonder how many there will be. I mean you would think that they would be smart enough to only sell as many tickets as people that could fit comfortably into the WWoHP, since the early admission is only for the WWoHP. If it fills up before all the people with premiere and celebration tickets get in, then what is the point of the early admission? KWIM? :confused3

Oh well. Hopefully they used common sense with that, so we can all really enjoy our time there for this event. :goodvibes

What is that? I'm newer here, so :confused3

Anyways, if it is wearing something to let ppl know who we are, then :cool2: I'll be the pregnant woman going HP nuts. :cool1: :rotfl:

It means lime green mickey head. And yes it is used at WDW to identify a DIS member. And I will bet that you are not the only pregnant HP fan there. lol

i'm new here as well, but I only just found out about LGMH - it stands for lime green mickey head -- basically a button/pin/tag you put on your shirt or bag or belt or something, it helps identify you as a fellow DISer!!

I think they chose lime green cause it's not a standard Disney color... and yeah, i think we'll be fine with a Disney pin/badge/tag at HP world...

Ha-ha! Good point! :rotfl:

Well I'll have to see if I can find a lime green mickey head then. Where can I get one...and what does it look like?

Also.....does everyone with celebration tickets and premiere tickets get in at the 6am time? I am curious how many will be there at the 6am point. :)

It will still be very crowded. The celebration packages have been availible for months and continue to sale and both packages get in at 6 am. I am very thankful for the early entry because I think it will be extremely crowded and this will help somewhat at least. It will also benefit the non package guests as well by opening the WWOHP up a bit by the time they gain entry.
