i'm with you on the bluray sets... it would have been nice to have one per person, rather than one per package, but they are a pretty expensive giveaway... to be honest we are just as excited about the lanyard/pin combo as we are about the DVDS, and the fact that we each get a lanyard/pin combo is pretty cool for us as we're pretty easy to please.

not long til we get our information emails now!! i've been doing a mini countdown to the info letter, as well as a countdown to our stay...

But yet we do not pay less for a 3rd person in the group or a 4th....Each person should get the set...

As for the email...It should have been sent at 12:01AM!!!

Here it is now, less than 2 weeks and still no email. I really need to know so I can shop this weekend in case I need better clothing... Mostly I wear Jeans. I have dress clothes and non dress clothes. Since I no longer work where I need business casual, I got rid of everything! LOL

I thought they said the 26th for the email but nothing on the 27th either!

Hey Dahoov, what country are you from? Just wondering because you must be on the other side of the world from the US if it is the 27th already. Kinda sucks that they didn't think about that with overseas guests. Sorry!

Love to see so many others that are just as excited as me!! I have been checking my email alot for two days (hoping maybe they would send out our emails early). lol I have a feeling the next two weeks are going to be the longest of my life.

Well it is 2:15pm here on the 26th, and no email as of yet. I'm just gonna keep checking I guess, and hopefully we will get it before bed tonight. I am just hoping they send it today as promised. I hate waiting. LOL! I am worse than my kids on Christmas morning right now I think. My poor DH keeps getting texts from me every hour saying "no email yet" and he is like...ok email when it comes!

yeah, it is 5.41am on 27th here (australia) which means when it was 3pm yesterday (my time) it was 12.00 midnight universal's time... so that is when i was expecting my email....

the 26th is almost over and still no email... it better arrive within the next few hours is all i am saying... i was (like others) expecting it to arrive in my inbox at 12.01am. i would have thought it would be a mass-mailout that they had prescheduled to generate at x'oclock on such and such date... seems they might miss the deadline...

kudos to whoever predicted they would miss the deadline

Ya I'm wondering too. Even if they send them out to all at 8pm their time I'd be happy. I just want to get it before tonight.

yeah, basically as long as i get it before midnight, i'm happy.

if they miss that deadline, i'll be pretty mad don't give a set date if you can't stick to it... or at least put something on the website if you're experiencing technical issues or something!

Do you guys have any idea what the gala will consist of? I know it's a meal and autograph signings, but... will the stars be signing during the meal or? And will the rides still be open during that time? How late do you think the party will last? My daughter is upset that we couldn't get the premier tickets, but I'm trying to tell her that the celebration tickets will be just as fun and that during the gala, we can go to one of the Harry Potter movies instead. She's still pretty disappointed, though. I wish there was something I could do. This will be her first time there (and probably only time) and I don't want her to be crying about it and wishing it was something more. Any suggestions? She feels 'left out' because of this.

While there are no details on the Gala really, I really don't think it's going to be anything fancy. The FAQ addresses wardrobe for the Gala as being, "comfortable theme park clothing" meaning you don't need to dress up for it anymore than you would for any other park day. While I only have the Celebration package for this event, I have been to private WWOHP events/Galas before and basically they had the WWOHP open and there were food booths set up with various things, a band and the rides and shops were open. There wasn't like a ball or anything. Not sure what this will be though.

Thanks for the info! My daughter has this idea that they'll be eating in the great hall or having a yule ball even. I doubt this because they said the autograph signings will be spread throughout the area. So, I'm betting it'll be like you said. The upside to this is that we can spend much more on our souvenirs. I'm sure she'll be happy about that part. And besides, it's not like she doesn't still have a chance to meet some of them and possibly get her photo taken. That right there would be worth it.

Got the email...finally....but Im VERY disappointed!!! No info about the Gala....ANY, and I was told on the phone that they were going to release the names of the cast members for the autograph session...Its better they decided to include the twins and Grint in all them!! Its crazy,I know, but we are excited mostly just to meet them..we will be crushed if not...We laready been at the WWOHP severals times....This time, for us, will be only for the casr, for our favs....Im pretty upset right now...they didnt maintain anything I was told on the phone.....

Well, my understanding is WB are the ones responsible for the event. IThe TMs on the phone are probably relaying the info as they hear it, but cannot be held responsible if WB makes alterations. I too, would love to have an in depth description of everything and who will be in attendance and how many autographs we can get,but am just willing to accept whatever info they can release. I actually didnt really expect any more info than what the email provided. I am pleased that at least we now know where to pick up our items and packets. Also tickled about the 6 am early admission.
