I know it is looking like the 50th celebrations are ending in September, but can anyone tell me exactly what will end!!!
I really want to see 'wishes' again, will it finish too???
We are going in October.

Im not excatly sure what will be ending, I imagine maybe the Cinderella Celebration show and prehaps the castle will revert to normal, I like you hope that Wishes is not finishing as I am going in October as well. :goodvibes

Wishes was there before the celebration, so it wil not end, but ther eis always the chance they may change it. However, wishes is much better than Fantasy in the Sky which was the firework show before, and that ws amazing.

I emailed Disney to try to get an exact date and an indication of what would be ending once the 50th celebrations were over. My reply was somewhat vague!

The reply stated that the celebration was "concluding at the end of September" which is not 18 months from the start date. They did not mention what would be remaining or going though! :rolleyes2

However, Soarin' at Epcot, Expedition Everest at AK and the motor stunt show at MGM will be permanent fixtures. :teeth:

I'm not sure about Cinderellabration or the castle decorations - these were the two things I specifically asked about and received no comment about them whatsoever! :confused3 I will try emailing again nearer our trip, I think! ;)

When I called WDW they didn't really say, at this point it doesn't seem to end for the 18 months originally planned for. But with WDW who knows.
When they are making money, why would they change things, It's very popular right now, and the more calls they keep getting, I am sure they are taking that into consideration.

Have fun on your trips!!!! :cool1:

7 days for 2 weeks!   :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped: :moped:

Thanks everyone, at least it looks like wishes will still be there:)

I have seen 30th September being the end date in several places, but like others have said a lot of "new" attractions / shows are there permanently (or as permanent as it gets, anyway ;) )
