Celebrating w/D23 as they turn 1! March 10: TR finished! Relive the Magic! updt 11/18

We actually have an 8:20 Crystal Palace adr that morning. If you'd like to join us you'd be more then welcome:)

Is that D23 ticket good for any park? Or jsut MK?

If I remember right, at Magic & Merriment, we got a "1 park, 1 day" paper ticket, so I'm thinking it's good anytime, any park. :thumbsup2

Really?! That is incredibly nice of you! :grouphug:

Ok, I gotta get going on my to-Do List! And I do still have a subscription to Ride-Max, if anyone needs it! :goodvibes

So, I was out & about today since I started by 4 day weekend this morning (almost a 6 day weekend, but we had a delayed opening yesterday at work).

This morning, I headed off to my gym to go to 9:30am pilates class, then 30 minutes of bosu & rubberballs and ending with 30 minutes of running on the treadmill. I felt really good after that, so I went to do errands.

One of those errands, was a stop at my mailbox to pick up....

My D23 Quaertly Case came in! Now I can store all the pretty magazines in it!

I had to stop at the store to pick up a few things including...
odb

I'll guess I'll start taking my vitamins now! (I had a coupon!)

Then I stopped at a local Hallmark store next to my mailbox and picked up this for 60% off...

to add to my previously posted collection.....

Just for giggles...Prozac is not impressed with my latest addition to my Potato Head collection, Sweetheart Spud

I also picked up a bunch of traveling things for the trip at Harmons, also having a 20% off coupon! :thumbsup2

One of those being a BabyBliss travel hairdryer. I had my eye on it, but I couldn't spend $30 on it. My frugal side just wouldn't let me. As I entered the store, I saw that it was on sale for half, plus I had the 20% coupon, so I picked it up. BabyBliss is a teeny tiny travel hairdryer with a direction nozzle, so I'm very happy!

I also picked up some discontinued lines of make-up from Covergirl. I guess their "Clean" line is being retooled? I love this line, so of course, it is. LOL! The foundation and powder was nex to nothing ($2.58!), so I picked up a couple, so that should last me until I find another line. I also picked up travel shampoo, conditioner and other doodads. :thumbsup2

If you have a Harmons near you or a FaceValue (same company), you may want to pop your head in there and check it out. They also accept Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, since they are all the same coupon.

Soon, I will order Mobile Magic and start playing around with RideMax and finalize my itinerary! :woohoo: popcorn::

I'm here

So, I'm trying to get my days sort of finalized, without being *too* scheduled....

This is what I have so far...

Day 1: Arrival: check-in / head to AK for EMH PM
--- potential Beaches & Cream / Jelly Rolls visit?

Day 2: back to AK / Backstage Safari
--- since AK closes early, good night to go to DTD?

Day 3: D23 party at MK! :wizard:

Day 4: Epcot / ADR Biergarten / WDW Podcast party

Day 5: Epcot / ADR Le Cellier / Rest of F&G events
--- potential hop to DHS (using paper ticket from D23)

Day 6: Departure: MK / ADR Crystal Palace DIS meet! :woohoo:

I got me some Mickey Mail!!! :woohoo: :cloud9:

MEtags.jpg

Now, I have to drag my suitcase out of the basement and start thinking about what to wear.

I think I'm going to make themed outfits (I sort of did it on my March 09 trip), but since I don't have park hoppers this time around, it might actually work!

:woohoo: for Mickey Mail! Exactly 2 weeks and we're there :dance3:

Love the themed outfit idea :thumbsup2

Ok, time to rev this up!

I believe I am at 9 days out! WOOT. I have to find a ticker! :goodvibes

I also have to finalize all the plans and share my vacation shopping (well, it wasn't a whole lot but enough).

My online check-in is completed by my neato travel agent, so the room request was the refurbed rooms at POP with hopefully not a parking lot view.

Off to find a ticket and get pics in order! I also changed my avatar in celebration for my trip.

You can also follow me via twitter: http://twitter.com/MyMuse18
Again, you do not have to join twitter, can just visit the link. I don't have my tweets set as private.

Hiya all!

I thought I would give you a bit of a pictorial of my birthday day....:cake:

I opened my eyes that morning and tore into my gifts sent to me from Florida by my goddaughter.

I got some lovely jewelry & sweaters, in which I did not take a picture of. :confused3

Then I opened my birthday cards and loved this fab one I rec'd from a friend of mine that i totally did not expect at all. I was SO surprised!
BdayCard.jpg

This is the collection with a special guest; I accidentily left out my aunt's..but imagine another one with "Niece" written across it

I decided not to have a frugal budget day, so I bought (gasp!) my breakfast AND (gasp! again) lunch from Starbucks on my way to work.

My birthday breakfast feast
BfastBday.jpg

The spinach wrap was delicious! I also tried the skinny cinnamon dolce latte and it was disguisting. Totally not worth it without the fat. LOL! The donut came from my co-worker. :goodvibes

My birthday lunch feast
LunchBday.jpg

The sandwich is chicken with cranberry sauce and it was delish as well as the pumpkin bread.

so, the actual day went quite well with a number of text, facebook friends giving me well wishes and a few calls.

This is also my father's 71st birthday as well. :littleangel:

Later that night, I went to babysit CJ and my sister got me these
FlowersfromSis.jpg

For those of you wanting to know, CJ is doing better and is happy with all his activities. He is enrolled in an after-school program (we are thrilled!) with tae kwon do and he is builing his muscles and strength. He really enjoys it and I liked the master of the school alot.

He also has basketball league (not special ed!). His coaches and other parents are WONDERFUL! We could not be more thrilled and CJ loves it!. We also manged to secure a behaviorist, social skill classes and a therapist for him. So, he is a very busy boy. My social calendar is nearly as packed as his!

On this particular day, when I went to pick up CJ, we had a big meltdown. He didn't finish his homework and he knew he wold get it trouble. As soon as I walked in, it was danger zone. So, he throw a legendary fit. After he finished, we had to wait because I wasn't about to drive with him in a rage. So, we clamed and I drove to my sister's house. As a consequence, he did not go to his basketball game that night.

However, he did well during the night, because we gave him a choice to stop and think about what he was going to do next. Either deal with his consequence or he could have another fit and take on more consequences. I am very proud to say that he accepted our decision and was calm for the rest of the night. This is great progress as his fits are not as routine as it once was and he is finally understanding that these fits will get him nothing - and he holds in wat happens in his future.

All in all, not a bad day. :goodvibes

YAY for treats from yourself and others on your special day! :woohoo:

It's good to hear that CJ continues to make progress. He's so lucky to have all of you :goodvibes

So I decided to go on errands and when I go on errands, I usually get in trouble if I don't follow my list! :rotfl:

First thing on my list: new edition of Hidden Mickey book!
HM-Book.jpg

Now, I need to compare the two and see what other HMs I can find. :thumbsup2

I also picked up these 2 shirts
P2210063.jpg

The one on the right would be perfect for DHS! It ahs the same style as TSM. However, the one on the left is a bit too snug for my liking, so I'm not going to bring it.

Then I picked up these 2 beauties for $1 each, so I couldn't resist
P2210066.jpg

It's so odd since these were the only 2 books they had! Alice will be out soon and I just saw the Lion King on Broadway. Disney Karma. :wizard:

Then onto another stop for a Mickey Heist (ala disneyaddicted)
MickeyHeist.jpg

I made the nephew come with me to start his life of heisting

Cj-chillin.jpg

I also got a few more travel items, but nothing worth taking a pic of. I also picked up a few Snow White gifts for the Goddaughter. princess:

I also got more Mickey Mail
P2220068.jpg

I got another magical express tag book, but I'm going to use my first one since my flight information is on that one. I never did figure out how to gt the luggage tags to work. I'm a bit slow.

I wonder how I can work in a round of mini golf to use my voucher? Hmmm... :scratchin

Tonight, also con'd a bit with birthday celebration, had dinner with my former office. It was lovely and I also got to pick up the Lia Sophia jewelry I ordered.

To end things off, please enjoy a few pic of the lovely Prozac :goodvibes

Thank you :goodvibes

CJ is definitely much much better. However his paternal grandmother causes a great deal of stress for him and consequently throws him into an emtional tailspin. I don't understand, but she really gets off on making my sister's life a misery. :sad2:

CJ is actually our cousin's child, not really our nephew, but we call him nephew. His grandmother, when she does actually call or sees him, reminds him of that fact constantly. She is family nad we are really not.

She has already threathened to go to court, which was just a big ol' bluff which we saw right through and we just said "go ahead". She's not happy that it didn't cause strife. So, today she tells CJ to bring his phone to school, which he is not allowed to do and he listened. She called him during program and he got in trouble, which was her goal all along. Get him to do sometihng she wanted, against the rules, get him in trouble and throw him into a tailspin. Sigh.

Today is when I'm babysit CJ, so I am definitely expecting the worst. Oiy.

It sounds like it's good he isn't constantly around grandma :sad2:

Hope things go better then you're expecting tonight
