Just heard from my mom! Dad is out of surgery and in recovery. She should get to go see him in about 30 minutes to an hour!

Y'all will understand this. Dad's surgery was yesterday, graduation was last night. Well, now both are over and were successful. So, this morning, I woke up with the giddy feeling of

WE'RE GOING TO WDW IN 1 WEEK AND 6 DAYS!!

I am so excited and so ready! Now, just to wind the school year down and get there! Have a great day, everyone!

Y'all will understand this. Dad's surgery was yesterday, graduation was last night. Well, now both are over and were successful. So, this morning, I woke up with the giddy feeling of

A Dad update: He should get to come home sometime later this evening! The doctor is pleased with his progress, and he doesn't have to go back to see the doctor for a month! We are all ready for him to be home! Thanks, everyone, for all of the prayers and pixie dust!

I love MK on the last day of our trip... although I end up teary as we walk out the gates!!!

What a Great Day!!


Today was a big-time celebration for us! Today is my and Dalton’s LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!! Now, I have to go back Tues-Thurs, and next Tues-Wed, but it’s not “real school”. It’s just to close everything out. Dalton is done with his “school” for the summer!

Here we are getting ready to go:

He had a great day! We are so ready for summer adventures together!

Speaking of adventures. . .

I DID ONLINE CHECK-IN TODAY!!! We are just 10 DAYS from WDW!! Woohooooooo!!!

I also ordered our tickets and booked the special “surprise”!

Since it’s just 10 days until we go, we’ll be having another countdown dinner tonight! I’ll post an update soon with that!

Thanks, everyone, for all of the kind compliments! We definitely enjoyed the last day of school! I'm up and getting ready to go in today. . .I keep telling myself "5 more working days"!

We will definitely be doing the Single Digit Dance when everyone else wakes up!
