Sorry to hear Mae's weekend was a bust. :sad2: I hope she's feeling better & enjoyed her Ruthie doll.

Did you get some good stuff at Target? A friend of mine was at Kohl's at 3:15am! :scared1:

My laundry just buzzed so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to post my next update. I have pictures from the waterpark & a picture of a special visitor who arrived at our house yesterday. ;)

I've been promising you guys a few things, so here they are! First, the Disney related present Tim ordered me for Christmas:

We got a new camera a couple years ago, I love the photos but it's much to big & bulky to take on vacation! Let's hope this new one takes good pictures. I don't know much about it - he got it with his Marriott points.

Next - our visit to the Coco Key Water Resort for Alex's birthday:

I didn't take too many pictures since cameras & water don't mix. ;)

And finally - our new visitor...

For anyone who has read Charleston Princesses PTRs & TRs, you know that she has two elves who come to visit every year and cause a little trouble while they are there. I thought that would be fun, plus knowing that Santa has a helper at the house to decide who's naughty & nice might be a bit of an incentive, if you know what I mean...

Yesterday morning we woke up and found our elf, who the boys named Cocoa, like the kind you drink in the winter, had been playing Wii all night. This morning we found him eyeing some of Alex's left over birthday cupcakes. I'll take some pictures if we catch him doing anything too crazy. :rolleyes1

12 MegaPixels. Gotta be a good camera! Congrats and nice of the hub to spring for the camera.

Where is coco key resort?

the elves are making the rounds this Xmas!

Hi Amy...I got so far behind! I hate that!

Your ADR's look amazing! Good for you for doing CRT! A mom needs some princess time! :goodvibes

Your calendars are amazing...NICELY DONE! :thumbsup2

Sorry about the tree tagging incident...but itchy butt was making me :lmao:

I love the little Elf...very cute idea!

Cute Halloween costumes...my boys love all the Mario games too. ;)

I'm sure I had other comments..oh...happy birthday Alex!

I'll try to keep up now! :confused3

With 12 MP, I bet that camera is going to take great pictures!

Love that you have entered the elf world with me. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Haddon and Ingrid don't borrow some ideas from Cocoa. ;)

I loved the birthday pictures, the boys looked like they were having a great time! Cocoa looks adorable, I can't wait to see all the trouble he gets into.

I'm sure the camera will be great - my only concern is that is has a one of those oddly shaped rechargeable batteries. You just plug the camera in to charge it, which is convenient, but you can't just swap out the batteries like with our other cameras. Hopefully we can find a back-up battery.

Coco Key Water Resort is part of the Sheraton Ferncroft (The hotel is now the Crowne Plaza - must have just changed). It's in Danvers Mass - north shore area.

Hi Missy! I'm feeling a bit guilty about CRT... I know we'll love it but it's so darn expensive. Hopefully I'll stick with the plan because it will be great.

Cocoa has done a few things - but nothing too interesting yet. He seems to enjoy video games and playing the little Christmas decoration piano we have. I need to get creative soon! I think he needs a companion... :confused3

Thanks Tracy! I keep forgetting to take pictures of Cocoa - we'll have to reinact some of his adventures.

I had a whole update typed up and just lost it! :headache: I usually type the updates in Word then copy them over, but this was a fairly short one so I didn't bother... :sad2:

Alex is waiting for me to play a game with him so I'll have to come back later to re-type it! I hate when that happens!!

Playing games at 7:30??? Wow! You must be much more of a morning person than I am!

I want to see pics of Cocoa playing the piano! :rotfl:

Finally... yesterday Tour Guide Mike posted the Least Crowded Park chart for the end of April. For those of you who haven't subscribed to TGM's website, I'll give a little explanation about his charts (without giving away too much info - he's very protective of his secrets.;)) For each day, Mike gives each park a rating of either green (go), yellow (OK to go with warning - not the best park for that day) or red (don't do it).

I'm happy to say that almost all of my park choices are green! :thumbsup2 Our first morning at DHS is yellow because the park has EMH that night but we'll be out of there to beat the crowds - no F! that night.

We also have a second yellow evening on Friday night - again at DHS. AK & MK are the only green choices but they both close early (MK closes early due to Grad Nights). Epcot has an evening EMH so that's a no-go for us.

I'm really happy that we don't have to change any of the ADRs - that is until we hear from Jeff about their plans. :rolleyes1

In other news, I spent about 90 minutes sitting in a line at Toys R Us (in the rain/snow) to get my little hands on a Zhu Zhu pet hamster for Zach. Have you guys seen those things? When I heard they were the hot new toy I had to see what they were all about. I was looking at a video/commercial online and Zach happened by and stopped dead in his tracks. He just had to have one! I figured it would pass, but the other night he asked Cocoa the elf (who visits Santa every night) for one! :scared1: Ever since then I've been looking online. They are going for $35 and up on sites like Amazon & Ebay - keep in mind that they cost $8 at Walmart - if they have them in stock. I just couldn't justify spending that much money on an $8 toy. Then I got an email about the Toys R Us sale and decided to do it. They were going to give out 100 tickets at 3:00. I arrived around 1:30 and got in line. I've never shopped Black Friday and I've never camped out for tickets or new toys, etc. so I figued why not... It brought back memories from when I was a child and my mom told me how she got my first Cabbage Patch kid. :cutie:

Anyways - my shopping adventure was successful - I was actually the 10th person in line. I don't think 100 people showed up in line, but I'm sure the 25 or so unclaimed Zhu Zhu pets were snatched right up once they were put on the shelves. I got the light brown one - I had my choice - I think his name is Mr. Squiggles or something like that. :confused3

Now if I could just find some of the accessories. :rolleyes1

I give you credit! :cheer2: The Toys-R-Us by us was doing the same thing and the line was INSANE! I was there getting presents for the children I nanny for and I'm glad I chose a checkout lane farthest from the line b/c when they began handing them out, people went NUTS. They had tell people that if they had one they HAD to go straight to checkout (I'm assuming for safety). :confused3

I have heard about Zhu Zhus from other parents with younger kids -- they do seem to be the hot new item this year! Congrats on scouring one for Zach! He is going to be thrilled on Christmas morning!!! :goodvibes

You are a good mom to go out and brave the Zhu-Zhu crowds...::yes::

...I made the very foolish mistake of asking David what they were (zhu-zhu and his eyes lit up with a little gleam-he LIKES them (I don't know what I would have done if he LOVED them...:confused3) but apparently he likes this bakugan 7 in 1 thing more that we hadn't had on the list......that was the ONE thing he really needed Santa to bring...

I've since seen the zhu-zhu-they are cute...I didn't know they have accessories...:confused3

(Luckily I was able to find it...I don't really understand bakugan but he really likes it...)

I think TGM's advice is always good...I just wish he was a bit quicker sometimes...and don't you always feel you aren't sure what is ok to reveal when talking to other people...like is this a trade TGM secret or not?...
