Celebrating birthdays?

I'm going to WDW Orlando 15 days and it will be my birthday and my step-brothers day on the same day. We will be in Hollywood Studios for most of the day (lunch at 50s Prime Time Café) and either magic Kingdom of Epcot to finish the night. I'm just wondering, how is your birthday celebrated in the parks/resorts (we're staying in The All Star Music Resort)? Is there anything we should do to make our birthdays even better/more fun? Also, which park should we end the night in?

Do what Robo says and get the button! I was there on April 8 for my birthday and wore one. So many CMs and guests wished me a happy birthday. I even had several CMs sing to me as well! One other cast member had Goofy talk to me on their phone to wish me well. It was cool!

You never know how your special day will be made more magical just by wearing the birthday button!

Yes! Get a birthday button. I had a group of women sing "Happy Birthday" to me on main street. It was embarrassing and magical at the same time.

One year while at Epcot, I bought a pin at each country and carried a sketch pad and pen with me and had a cast member at each country write happy birthday in their language and sign it. Some wrote more and all really enjoyed me actually asking. When I got home put the pin in the greeting from it's country and put them all in a frame. Great memory and we really had fun asking all the cast members and talking to them.

You can also add a note to your dining reservations online/by phone if you didn't already, as they usually ask if you are celebrating anything, and sometimes they will give you a special cupcake or sing, etc. Each place is different so no guarantee, but they may do something. As Robo mentioned get a birthday button either at Guest Relations, or at check-in at your hotel they often ask if you are celebrating anything, and will give you one there. My DD wore hers all week, so you could too, and celebrate the whole week!

Three years ago, we celebrated my bday at MK. I wore my pin that day and that day only. My son really wanted me to wear it. I'm not a bday person but it was nice to get a lot of "Happy Birthday" comments.

A lot CMs asked me when my bday actually was. Lots of people wear bday pins everyday of their trip. If it makes you feel good, I say, "do it"!

I have celebrated lots of birthdays in WDW and will be doing so again in May. I used to add the birthday comment to my dining reservations when calling to do so. I have made most of my dining reservations online for this trip (from my phone) and did not see anywhere to add birthday greetings, just dietary information. Can anyone let me know how to add birthday message when making reservations online. Thanks.

Do a couple of meet and greets with characters while wearing your birthday buttons, if you like that sort of thing. Phineas and Ferb once had their handlers sing to my father on his birthday and Chip (and Dale) made a bit of a fuss when I met them on mine. I agree with Robo about ending the night in whichever park closes later, unless there's something super spectacular going on at the other you really want to attend (a concert series in World Showcase, for example).
