Continued....
Next we toured Minnie's house. I made sure we got a picture of both kids on Minnie's couch this time. the kids always have fun playing in here.
Thomas wanted to ride Barnstormer next. they even let us stay on since there was no wait. So we got to ride twice and they gave the kids frequent rider cards . We walked over to get on line for the Railroad when we saw some characters out for meet and greets. We just missed Marie which we have been trying to meet for the last 2 years. Thomas and Kaylee really wanted to see her. I asked one of the CM if she would be back out and she told me in her nasty voice she had no idea when and if the characters would be back out. We did get to meet Meeko though.
Then I asked a different character handler about Marie. She wasn't sure of the time but gave me at least and idea of when they would be back out, as long as it didn't rain. Marie was supposed to come back out too. I thanked the CM and we were on our the next train to Frontier land. The kids sat in the back and at the Main St. station Thomas got to say All aboard. The crowds were on there way into the park by now. When we arrived at FL BTMRR already had quite a wait so we grabbed FP for later. Splash had short wait but I really didn't want to get wet after being Soaked all week. We wanted to wait for the back row since I don't think you get as wet
of course the CM was not nice about me not taking the front and told me I would get just as soaked in the back. I completely disagreed but kept that to myself. Well this time she was right. We got drenched by another log coming down the hill. We were not thrilled after being wet all week. I guess we should have skipped it or rode before we left the park. I tried to dry the kids and I up the best I could in the bathroom but it was useless. We still had 5 minutes before our FP time was good for BTMRR. But we handed the Bday kid the FP's and the CM said Happy Birthday to Thomas and didn't make us wait. This is one of our favorite rides and we had so much fun. Also made sure to Grab FP's to ride again. We were getting hungry so we went to CHH since it was the closest place. I got the Anchor's away sandwich, Thomas had mac & cheese, Kaylee had adult chicken nuggets and tom shared with me and Kaylee. I can never eat more than half a sandwich anyway.We had chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cake for dessert as usual. The food was excellent as most CS in Mk is. Sorry for lack of pics but we were hungry.
After lunch we went over to Adventure land, but decided to to ride Magic Carpets later, but we never got back to it unfortunately. We missed a lot at this park as well. There was a CM outside of POC and we asked about the Pirate Tutorial since it not on the times guide. Turns out if the rain held off they would be doing it in 15 minutes. So we decided to wait and see it. Captain Hook was out meeting and the kids went over With Tommy to meet them.
Shortly after Mac the first mate came out to start the show. My kids were excited to see it again. then out came Captain Jack and of course it was the hottie one that looks and sounds just like him. This is the only jack I have ever seen in all our trips. The started picking kids and he picked Thomas
. I was so happy they choose him as he never gets picked to be in any shows or ride with any characters because he is very shy. Thomas had a huge smile on his face.
Then all the kids watching the show got to take the Pirate oath and were given those little scrolls. Kaylee had to go and get in on the action as well. She is usually picked for this show. I as happy Thomas had a turn. He said mommy i got to fight "Stinky Pete"
that was his name for Mac.
I also have video of this but not sure when I'm going to find time to upload it since it's been so crazy with both kids out of school and their summer activities. Notice the sun is out in these pictures.

. Darn I thought we should have just stayed at MK for a while longer. We got back to our room to freshen up and it was still drizzling. Tom decided to take Thomas and try to go to HS anyway. Kaylee and I weren't sure yet because of the weather if we wanted to venture out just yet. I changed Thomas to his Star Wars shirt and wished him luck. About 15 minutes later it started down pouring and I tuned on the weather channel. We were under a tornado warning 
. I called Tommy on the cell phone and they were at the bus stop waiting still. I told him to please come back to the room because there is no way Jedi Training would be on anyway. So they did and we relaxed until dinner and just kept an eye on the weather channel in case. 
so you must be tired.
for Thomas getting picked for the Pirate Tutorial! That stinks about the Jedi Training.... I can't wait to see the Fairies when we go back. Love how you always take a pic of the kids on the couch at Minnie's House. 
. Supposedly a tornado went through Casselberry that afternoon. Maybe 30 minutes from WDW.
.I was happy we were at the resort during the Tornado warning 
AGAIN. She told me later it was a good girl with blond hair. I felt like putting my fingers in my ears so as not to hear her tell me. I guess this costume is easy to see into. I told her the characters are real, LOL.
so he needed the new improved model. Well it was his Birthday and he was sure that is what he wanted. So that is what he bought with the rest of his card. 
Sorry the rain put such a huge damper on your trip! Glad you got to ride Haunted Mansion! Thomas looked pretty happy in the pictures considering everything!
