I forgot not sure if you saw this or not living in SI you can appreciate though ;). Tom's cousin Luciano and his wife bought this historic mansion. I always forget.

We don't worry about rope drop because as you know Bryan ignores them! i am so happy that you got lots of pics this day! I am praying that the rain holds out so you can swim!!!!:thumbsup2

You got lots done at AK that morning! We skipped it last trip, so I am looking forward to seeing it again.

:lmao: That is too funny. I would try to go under the rope but would definitely get caught and have my pic posted on the DIS. The food will have me going back. Update Monday morning. I used your fast and furious comment for tusker house since it just fits :goodvibes.

WOW!! Fabulous update, Nichole!! I love all of your AK pics!! And you got to see soooo many characters! I'm impressed! Sorry you felt so rushed at Tusker House. I know you were glad to get some time in the parks without rain!! Can't wait to hear more!

Oh gosh I hope there's not another CODE BROWN! Ewww!

You got the best pics on AK day! I love all the character shots...so cute! And my favorites of course are the Tigger ones! I think I told you that on your FB. :goodvibes That line looks so long!

So on the AK Safari GG we will stop and get a longer more in depth safari!? I was wondering about that. Are you in the same truck or a different kind? I'm so excited about this! We're doing the Epcot one too!

I wonder who those Dismeets are with!? :rolleyes1

Oh no! The last day! Glad the rain held off for most of the day. :thumbsup2

The rain waited until after dinner. Luckily even then it wasn't a monsoon.

Thanks Becky:goodvibes, Tusker house wins the prize for quickest characters :rolleyes1. We saw lots of characters at AK. I tried to find Flik since Thomas loves him but oh well maybe next time. The rain finally stopped for a bit and then we wanted to go swim :confused3 like we don't swim at home all summer. The kids love the pools at Disney ;)

Hi Tammy,
AK was great for characters that day :goodvibes. I loved the GG Safari dinner so fun. Yes they will stop to let you get pics and the guide will answer any questions you or the kids can think of. It is the same truck though. Dismeets coming up tomorrow.

Do you think it was more rushed than Chef Mickey's? I felt very rushed when we at breakfast at CM.

Do you think it was more rushed than Chef Mickey's? I felt very rushed when we at breakfast at CM.

::yes:: I have been to Chef Mickey's about 6 times total and it was much more rushed than that. They tried to skip signing books and if they could have walked and waved they totally would have :sad2:. Like I said i was not the only complaining about it.

Great update Nichole!

Amazing that no matter how many trips you take, there is always more to do!:goodvibes

Looking forward to the next update!:)

DAY 6 Our Last Day continued......

When we left we had hopes of getting to the main pool at SSR. There were major black clouds in the sky but it wasn't raining yet. So we put on our swim suits and headed to The Springs pool and :yay: it was open and not all crowded.

The kids couldn't wait to try out the slides and us big kids joined them. All of the pools at this resort were really nice but the main pool was the best. We were happy the rain was holding out, but those skies looked dark.

We had a fun hour in the pool. Tommy went to AP to pick up lunch for us while I got the kids out of the pool. We had a late lunch at an outside table near the pool. We shared 2 orders of Chicken nuggets and 2 flat breads. We used up our last 4 CS on the DDP. We still had so many snacks left. I didn't take food pics sorry. The food was edible.

After lunch we went back to the room to shower and hopefully get Thomas to take a nap so he wouldn't be cranky at dinner tonight. Of course he never napped though. So we got ready for dinner at Le Cellier. I had thought of canceling this one and just trying to get an ADR for somewhere in Mk instead, as we needed more time at MK. Tommy was looking forward to Le Cellier though so we went.

We got to Epcot 10 minutes before our ADR and still had to walk all the way to Canada. Thomas fell asleep on the bus so we carefully put him in his stroller so he could get a 10 minute snooze before dinner. The sun was shining a bit between the clouds so I snapped a few pics on the way to Canada but didn't really have time to stop. Kaylee posed in most of my pics since Thomas was sleeping.

Kaylee took this of us.

Continued...

We checked in for Le Cellier and had about 5 minutes until we were seated. I'm not sure which section we were seated but our waiter was really nice and service was good. I ordered the kids those cups that come with the light ups since it was our last day.

What a face

We were just digging into our pretzel bread when I looked up and noticed Mary (MaryAZ) at the very next table. I had to go over and say hello before their dinner came. We chatted for a few minutes and Kaylee walked over to meet her girls Avery and Cayley. I had told her one of my DIS friends DD's has the same name as her. Cayley and Avery were adorable and it was so nice to meet Mary and her family.

Our dinner had arrived. Tom ordered the mushroom filet which he loved. I ordered the NY strip since I don't like Mushrooms and they took maple filet off the menu :sad2:. It was good but wish I had ordered the Filet minus the mushrooms since Tom' s was better. Kaylee had the kids steak which she liked and Thomas had pizza which he didn't touch since he said he was not hungry.

Dessert was next, which Thomas also didn't want but we ordered it in case. Hey it's vacation, at home he would never get away with this. The kids make your own sundaes, this is Thomas's

Chocolate Moose for me, too cute.
Disney2009451.jpg

Smores for Tommy which he loved and Kaylee stole half of it.

As we were waiting for the check I called Tammy (onetreehilladdict) to see where they were since we had been playing phone tag all day. Turns out hey were in WS Germany I think. I told her we were finishing up and then would be in WS and hoepfully meet up. Duhhh we should have picked a set place but didn't think of it at the time.
Anyway we paid our check at Le Cellier. We will definitely be back to this restaurant! We took a few pictures in Canada. Thomas was not into having his picture taken.

Continued..

We continued on to the rest of World Showcase. We did need to put on our poncho's at one point since it was raining lightly. We only took a few pics because of it. I wanted to get a pastry in France but i was so full from dinner. We stopped in Morocco and Italy but i was making sure I avoided one particular playground that had lots of black mulch. It looked cute though.

Disney2009461.jpg

By time we reached Mexico I needed a Margarita since I hadn't one of even a Pina Colada this trip. I don't drink very often actually but have always wanted to try one of those different colored ones from the stand. It was all of the flavors layered in the glass. It was good but the apple flavored portion was nasty. Thomas needed the restroom so Kaylee and I said we would waited out front. Then I heard a girl call my name and looked up and it was Amy (earthfaries) and her DS. I was surprised to see her but happy to finally meet her. We talked for a few minutes until her sister came out to meet them with the other kids. They were all really nice and her kids were cuties too. She said they loved living in FL. Which someday I hope too also.

Tom and Thomas came out but had no luck finding a bathroom. He did run into Tammy though inside Mexico. They were also on their way out. It was so nice to meet her and her beautiful family. Her DD and DS were really nice and friendly and Kaylee hit it off with them immediately.

I finished up my Maragrita so I could meet Tom and Thomas at the Odyssey center as they went there to use the restroom. All our kids wanted to ride some rides together and their ride of choice was TT which I had FP's from the SSR screw up that I needed to use. We all walked and chatted on the way out of WS and over to TT. Tammy's baby DS didn't want to ride for some reason so her DH Sidney waited with him while the rest of us rode. That was lucky though as he had to rescue Thomas from a thief  thanks again Sidney! Anyway the kids had a blast on the ride. I didn't take any pics of us since we had been out in the rain. I should have though, hindsight. After the kids played in some of the cars in the TT pavilion. I did mange to get a few pics of them. Kaylee and her new friends.

Disney2009466.jpg

Disney2009464.jpg

It was time for Poncho's when we left TT. All of us wanted to ride Soarin before leaving the park. So we walked over to the land. We ran into Mary and her family again too while we waited for the girls to use the restroom. They were heading out though so didn't ride with us. Tom didn't ride with us since we didn't have enough FP's and the CM didn't bother to tell us there was no wait :rolleyes1 so he could have went. Anyway we waited for the front row. But the group in front of us got stuck on the ride for about 25 minutes :scared1:. It went by quick because we were talking the kids were having fun. Her baby DS is adorable BTW. Maybe it's a good thing we waited for the front. We were finally on the ride when the screen went black and we went back down to the floor . The CM had to wait for the audio to catch up before we could try to ride again. Luckily we did ride again and didn't get stuck this time. By time were off the ride the park was closed. So we all headed out of the park. We said good bye to Tammy and her family. We needed to get back to the room and pack :sad2: for the flight home which was very early. Also Tom wanted to use the rest of our snack credits for the kids to have on the plane/ car ride from Nashville.

After we got back put the kids to bed and packed up we crashed. I woke up later with a horrible stomach though, not sure if it was the Magarita or too much food on the DDP . Luckily I didn't get sick though. We woke up early it was very hard to wake up too grumpy tired kids who didn't want to leave. This time Kaylee was the one who cried. But her dad promised we would be back next year. Bell services came and drove us and our suitcases to the Springs. Magical Express was already there, 10 minutes early. We had and uneventful ride to the airport. As soon as we got inside MCO it started downpouring. We took the fake monorail to our gate and had breakfast at McDonalds in the airport.

After we landed in Nashville we still had a 2.5 hour drive home. We stopped for lunch at Chick Fil A and made it home in record time. When we got home Thomas couldn't wait to play with his Birthday presents. My mom brought the dogs home and had a quick visit with the kids. After they left Thomas and Kaylee played with Thomas's new Pirate ship toy and then played Mario cart for 2 hours. I took a much needed nap on the couch while they played. I must have been exhausted from the trip, rain and all the aggravation before we left. I came back to much of the same but won't bore you all with it on here. Normally I can never nap during the day as I need it really quiet and dark. Disney depression set in right away :sad1:. None of us were ready to be back so soon.

Next update: Final thoughts

So sad its over already! I so know what you mean about the Disney Depression. I have been back for 1.5 months and I still don't think I'm out of mine!

Looks like you had some fun Dismeets! That is awesome. And the food pics from Le Cellier are making me hungry!

Can't wait to read your final thoughts :thumbsup2
