Great report Nichole, as usual!! I think the rain probably put a huge damper on your experience at SSR, I agree about it being so big though! I agree about Artist's Palette too! I am so happy you and Tommy are giving a couples only trip a try and I think POFQ is the perfect resort!! You will love either Narcoosee's or Cali Grill! I sure hope you choose next June for your family vacay and push it back a week or soI'm just saying! Glad you got to meet so many disser's, sounds like so much fun!!! What a busy summer you have had! i CANNOT believe your kids go back to school in 10 DAYS!!!

! We love Cali Grill, but Narcoossee's would be a new place for us. I think June sounds good. Maybe I can get Tom to agree to AKL if we do deluxe. I know Thomas would love it there!! So many kids activities. I feel the same way, summer just started! Kaylee has been in dance all summer and I feel like I never get to see her

since I'm finally done. i thought you would finish first since your quick with updates.I had so much fun with ya'll! I love the pics you took of the kids too. I wish I had taken some. We will make up for it in December! Might I make a suggestion!? If I were you whether or not you bring the kids along I would book POP. Then use the extra $ to upgrade to Deluxe Dining so you and Tommy can go to a bunch of nice romantic two credit table service places! (Or Dinner shows) Knowing you guys I think it would best suit your needs. December is hit or miss with the weather so you may not even be able to enjoy the fancier pool. Ya know? Also, the $ saved from the other resort could go towards tours...Segway, Behind the Scenes at the MK...all that cool stuff! Now if you had the 40% code I'd say stay in a super romantic place...but since it's free dining I'd do Pop and then go all out on everything else!

. I booked Pop from the start. But we never go anywhere without the kids so we decided upgrade a little. We won't swim 
but maybe use the hot tub and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Then I mentioned the deluxe DDP to Tom but we hate wasting time in TS places as it is. Regular DDP is too much food. We want to spend time touring the resorts and the parks seeing all the Christmas decor since we have never been before. Probably going to MNSSHP on Friday since we won't be there with you all on Thursday so bummed. I agree though the Segway tour looks fun, then again I would probably crash the darn thing 
. If we had 40% we would probably went with deluxe and skipped the dining plan. I'll give you a call tomorrow

. It was nice to finally meet up. I'm fianlly starting to get excited for the trip, but it still will be hard to see the Christmas parade and but maybe next year. I'm hoping that the plan works and Tommy is ready to bring the kids back. he does like Disney just doesn't love as much as the rest of us. I guess the money disappearing out of the checkbook might be why . Next year I plan to possibly Home school Christmas break can be whenever we want. Did you use a stroller with your son at anytime during your trip? We can't decide whether to take one down or not. Titus hasn't used one in forever but I didn't know if we needed one in disney or not.
LOVED the ewok and RD-D2 toys. Titus would love those toys! He loves star wars and trains!

. your little boy is going to have a fantastic Birthday in Disney. no better place to celebrate. Thomas doesn't use a stroller at home but yes we took a stroller to Disney. He used it a lot actually. In May- October it is really hot/ humid in FL so little kids need rest and plenty of water since they get tired and dehydrated much faster than us adults . It depends on your DS though if you think he will use it or not. Normally i would say just rent, but you may want to check the prices because it has gone up a bit. Hope you have a great trip. glad you found my TR again. Thanks for reading. Congtas on your move and booking POR. Your brave trying a new resort . iwanted to book CBR for DH and I but I would feel so guilty going there with out the kids. Thomas wants to go and stay in a pirate room. If you do a PTR send me the link. I hope you like POR. Let me know when you get back if you think it's better than POFQ I might have to switch.

We are going to try the Turf Club on our November trip. So we will be checking out SSR while we are there. I think I would prefer OKW though if I had to choose between the two. It looks more tropical, like CBR!
Yes, we are trying POR. I'm a little scared. But hopefully we will love it! DS10 keeps saying - "I don't see why we can't just go back to CBR. It has everything I need."
I'm not sure if I will be doing a PTR. Probably not. But I'm sure I will do a Dining Report, a POR review, and a TR when we get back.
. If the kids were going we would go to CBR for sure. I really can't go there without the kids. I also got a pin code in the mail. At least know we are able to use it.
I understand about your DH's work slowing down. We are in the same boat. Better to wait and save the deluxe for another time. I hope things get better for us soon with this economy. A value resort is probably more in our budget for this extra trip. Since it's only Tom and I going and it's our 10th Anniversary we had to upgrade at least a little

But it looks like you were able to do lots of rides and character meets. We love Sci-Fi too. We didn't eat there on the last trip so we are really looking forward to it in November! Hopefully they will be fine. I'm very excited to try 2 new resorts!

You'll never guess what I did! I cut back my POR with free dining stay to 6 nights and changed the last 2 nights to a room only stay at OKW! For about the same price! So I guess I will get to see just how worn those rooms are!
I bet you will like OKW. It seemed bigger than CBR to me. Trying new resorts is always fun. yes better late than never ..Thomas had a great Birthday! Glad to hear December is a good month to go. I was thinking it might be too cold.
Wow I can't believe all that rain. We have been to WDW in May twice and hardly had any rain. I hope the rest of the week's weather improved for you!
