Celebrate the Magic from Wishes F+ area

We are so excited for our first visit to WDW and I have heard wonderful things about the Celebrate the Magic castle projection show. Can anyone tell me if the Wishes FP+ area is a good viewing area for this show? If so, will they let us into the area in time for the projection show? I don't want to waste a FP+ if we won't be able to see it well from there. TIA!

It is a bit to the side, but a good view. Better because everyone sits down, so little ones can see. We were spread out laying on the ground watching it, with kids laying on us. It was lovely.

The fireworks are right after, and tink flies right over you and you have the best view for the fireworks.

Thank you for the info. Do most people sit down in this area? Is there somewhere nearby to leave strollers? I know the parade will have gone through shortly before it, is there somewhere we SHOULDN'T be to watch the parade to make sure we can get to this FP area in time?

I believe strollers are allowed into the area , though it is mostly if not all grass-covered. You can sit if you like, some bring blankets.

Anywhere nearby on the parade route should be fine (Hub, Main Street, even Liberty Square), but it'll help if you're on the east or northern side of the route.
