We seem to have a lot of music threads. Lets keep the ball rolling.

Too Fast For Love - Motley Crue
Theatre Of Pain - Motley Crue
Shout At The Devil - Motey Crue
Dr. Feelgood - Motley Crue
Motley Crue - Motley Crue
New Tattoo - Motley Crue
One Day Remains - Alter Bridge
Core - Stone Temple Pilots
Redefine - Soil
Enema Of The State - Blink-182
Karma and Effect - Seether

I want:
High School Musical soundtrack
The Spill Canvas CD
Taking back sunday (not the new one, the one before that)
one of the older FOB CD's

okay yeah I don't know the names of like, any of these lol

Taking back sunday
High school music
Disney Jams lol
Bob Marley (any)
No pads, no helmets, no balls
Andddd whatever else I see XD

Ok, I'll post on this one. BTW, Mike, 'good to see you're still posting here on the DIS. :)
So...CDs I want:
-Closer by Josh Groban
-possibly Appalachia Waltz, classical string music played by various artisits including the world-renowned celloist, Yo Yo Ma
-a custom CD I'm working on right now through walmart.com--about $4.50 for the first three songs and 88 cents/song after that--that will have selections from various Sarah McLachlen CDs, from Josh Groban's first CD, and from Norah Jones most recent CD, Close to Home
-I'm looking into music by Andrea Bocelli after hearing him sing so beautifully at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics :goodvibes
-perhaps the Sahara soundtrack

That's all I can think of right now.

Oh, and I have to ask...

Is that really the name of the CD? :rotfl2: If it is that's pretty hilarious...like saying the State is full of it? :lmao: If not, that's a pretty unfortunate (but hysterical :rotfl: ) typo :teeth: Sorry, I'm not too familiar w/ all the current bands and their CDs, otherwise I wouldn't have had to ask, but...yah

umm.

- Some Motely Crue CD (it's fairly new, and their song "If I Die Tomorrow" is on it..)
- No Pads, Not Helmets... Just Balls (Simple Plan)
- Hard Rock Live Orlando (Simple Plan)
- Still Not Getting Any (Simple Plan)
- Billy Talent (self-titled)
- The Anatomy Of The Tongue In Cheek (Relient k)
- Take This To Your Grave (FOB)
- Blink-182 (Self-titled)

I hate to start an argument, but things like this really bother me. Don't you think you should have a slight common knowledge of a band before you buy their cd's?

normally yes, it does help. some people are just kind of.. 'that looks good, i think i'll buy it'. i would be one of those people. if someone i knew was a die-hard [insert band] fan and said i should listen to them, and i saw their CD i would freak out and buy it. or if i've heard one of their songs, i would be likely to buy the cd with that song on it and become addicted to the others.
i'm not exactly sure if i want the Motely Crue CD with the If I Die Tomorrow on it. i'm not really into them, but that song is good (and written by SP).

Red, White, and Crue. I have it actually, and it's a best of, so it would be a great way to get into the band if you don't really know anything by them.

I think I may check it out. but i'm not sure how long i'm going to wait. i'm supposed to be saving money for our next trip to disney. though last year i didn't and i went way over my limit xD. or i could just buy the cd in the states.

I know the band, I know some songs and I'd like to hear what else they have done, but I didn't feel like looking up the name of the CD at the time I posted.

Mmm, I see. Well, in that case, for the Spill Canvas, I'd definitely reccomend Sunsets & Car Crashes. One Fell Swoop is amazing as well, but S&SC is by far my favorite.

I'd say:

Nirvana - In Utero or Bleach
Sigur Ros - ( )
The Smashing Pumpkins - Machina
Pink Floyd - Animals
Radiohead - Amnesiac
NIN - Pretty Hate Machine

I buy the CD, and import it into my iPod. I find that way better, because a lot of times, I like other songs on CD's better than what's being played on TV.

well- i find that when i'm looking at songs by a certain artist (i'll be looking for one in specific) and i'll see another that catches me eye. bingo. and i end up going to get the rest. with relient k, i liked one song, so i proceeded to download most of their albums and fell in love their music.
i'm listening to a lot of nickelback lately, and i just kind of pick any song that's available. though my brother does have their latest album.

I hate your brother.

umm? why? xD is it because you hate nickelback.. or want the album?

i have the entire thing on my pc though xD my brother does that. he used to have the entire linkin park (meteora?) album on it, and sum 41. now he just buys the album.
and i just stick to downloading because i never have money on me when i'm ready to buy a CD.
