Thank you! I bookmarked it. Unfortunately, as of today this one is as choppy as the rest. Just not enough data yet.The J. Hopkins website does have a page where you can see vaccination data by state........

It's a new page they added. They have been adding more states as they start doing their vaccine rollout.
No, I understand- it's not them. It's just the data is limited.
By the way, I got to the source of this one: it's the CDC, not the media. They haven't updated their own numbers since Monday.
I suspect it also has to do with whether the state is sharing that information with the CDC or not. It's a new page they added. They have been adding more states as they start doing their vaccine rollout.
The bad news: only around a million people have been dosed so far.
The food: almost 10 millions doses have been distributed, so the numbers will definitely keep growing.
I know my niece in CA and one of DD’s best friends in Seattle are both scheduled for early January. Both are nurses who take their turn on the COVID floor. My niece being in CA her “turn” has been nonstop the last couple of weeks. I will be so relieved to know both are on their way to being protected. The bad news: only around a million people have been dosed so far.

Yeah. I hope the rollout speed improves. Right now the infection rate is much higher than the vaccination rate. At this rate we are going to gain herd immunity via infections before we can get it thru vaccines. The bad news: only around a million people have been dosed so far.
Apologies if this has been asked somewhere... this is a big thread.
I know recipients of the vaccine have to come back for a second one in a few weeks. If they choose not to, for whatever reason, does anyone know whether there is a plan in place regarding what to do with those doses originally earmarked for them? Do they "lose their place" in line, so to speak? Or will those doses be allowed to be given to a "fresh" group of recipients?
