On our last 3 sailings we just enjoyed relaxing at CC. This sailing (11/20/04) we have 2 stops (Sunday and Friday) DW wants to parasail. Do you just make reservations now and they give you a time? I've never paid attention........where do you go? Isn't it outside the "bay area"?

we went to dhore exversion on the ship and bought the tickets and when you get off the ship you will see a sign and a ticket booth to your left .. my DD 12 and her friend loved it...

we booked ours ahead early so we got the time we wanted then they bill your room, they will send you a conframantion letter prior to sailing.

We just did this last Friday on Castaway Cay!!

We made the reservation about two months in advance and the excursion tickets were waiting in our room when we boarded the ship in Port Canaveral.

When you make the reservations they will tell you which times are available and ask which you prefer. Your navigator will tell you where to go for the actual excursion - there's a small pier area on the island shortly after you debark and you'll notice a hut there. That's where you will go to sign the excursion waiver form and wait for your boat.

It was a blast! Definitely do this if you get the chance - it's absolutely worth every penny. I can't wait to go back and do it again, myself!! :D

I would try for the 1st one of the day. My daughter and my sister were booked for the 11:30am boat. After sitting in the HOT sun :sad2: for more than 30mns., they came out and told us THAT boat was xxld!!! All the other boats of the day were able go to!
VERY disappointing!!!

Definitely book as soon as possible so that you are fairly assured of the time that you want. We chose the first time slots for my DH & me & the last time slots of the day for our kids (18 & 12), so that we could enjoy CC & not get interrupted - especially to hang around waiting for our turn. Also, we were able to go back on the ship & get on Deck 10 & take pictures of them. You can't really see anything from the island - you go out & around past the ship.

I hadn't plannred to go parasailing this past August. But, DD decided to hang with her club, so I asked for openings. Plenty available.

Once piece of advice-if booking for your family, go for the earliest available times. Teens and kids tend to get all wrapped up in what they're doing. Our DS, 14 missed his slot because he was late!
