I am getting worried here. I had ressies for POP for 7/16 - 7/24. I head all the bad reviews, got scared and moved to CBR for just a few dollars more a night (AP rate). Now, as I pour over all the resort board, there is nothing about CBR, anyone who has been good or bad. Has no one been? Was I crazy to jump ship? Any advise will be appreciated.

As you can see, it is our favorite resort; we have visited the other moderates and although they are beautiful, we just love CBR!!! If you love the tropical feel, then you will not be disappointed.
I believe that matjef9091 gave you the thread to safetymom's 'all you need to know about CBR' but if not, check it out. Let us know if you have any specific questions and I'm sure we'll do our best to answer them :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

We changed from the Pop to CBR also and have found many positive reviews. I just wish we were staying longer than one night. :(

Many many people stay at CBR and love it. You can also find the resort threads stuck at the top of the resort board.

We love CBR too, you didn't make a mistake, it is a very nice resort and I think you will like it. Check out the CBR FAQ thread, there are pictures and everything there.

We stayed at CBR in 2002 and we loved it! I have never been anywhere tropical before and being there made me feel like I was. The music was wonderful and the white beach was a lot of fun. No, the water isn't blue and you can't swim in the lake but the rest of the atmosphere was wonderful. Mousekeeping treated us very well. We had very good service at check-in and check-out. The only reason that we are not staying there next month is because my husband has a thing for New Orleans and wanted to try something different.
I think you made a very good move in changing from POP to CBR. I'm kind of jealous. I know our stay at POFQ will be wonderful but I'm the kind of person that once I find someting I like I tend to stick with it.
Relax and look forward to your magical vacation!

Hi matjef9091,

I`m booked for a 8-day stay at CBR on August. I have researched the moderate resorts to exaustion, and I`ve decided to stay at CBR. The atmosphere sounds great, and I`m hearing a lot of good comments about it.
Of course you always have the possibility of getting bad experiences everywhere, it doesn`t matter where you stay or how much you spend, but I consider those to be just bad luck, especially when going to Disney.
So, free yourself from worries, and enjoy the magic !

We LOVE CBR!!!! Don't forget to try out the hammocks!!!!! It's our favorite place to unwind after a long hot day in the parks!!!

I really enjoyed our stay at CBR. It had a very nice tropical feel to it, the food at the food court was very good, and the staff was very cordial. It has a nice pool, the pool bar had very yummy drinks, and it was very conveniently located. We are considering CBR again for our December stay.

We have stayed at several WDW hotels and the CBR remains our favorite! It has a more "adult" feel to it than the values and LOTS of swimming pools. It was very nice to not have to share a pool with 2 dozen screaming kids. The rooms are even larger than some of the deluxe resorts! The food court IS still "just" a food court, but we felt it had a few more optins than the values' food courts.
February weather can be anything, but the weather will be the same no matter what resort you stay at!
