CBR Review

I just want to give a little review of our stay in the World from 4/17-21.. First off, my grandchildren were treated so special upon our arrival at the Custom House. Check in was ok, but, with 3 rooms, I think the girl was a little flustered after she did all the spattering of pixie dust I won't stay there again as it was way too spread out and at check in I wasn't given a map and out of the 3 rooms only one of us got the map. We had to flounder our way to our building..we did get 2 of our request and for that it was a blessing We were told bus pick up, pools ect...so, we spent several minutes to an hour trying to find our way to our building and then had to figure out where to catch the bus and where to get off...none of this was told to us...But, no worry, once I got my bearings and figured placement, we were ok...Next trip tho, I will most likely go to the Pop Century again...IF I can't afford the Poly...
Ok, enough said for this review...we had a special vacation and we were blest just to be together...

What kind of Pixie dust did you get?

Sorry you didn't enjoy CBR. We loved it there. Too bad you didn't ask for more maps so you could find your building! Would have made life easier for sure. I seem to remember having a smaller map included in our resort packet you get at check in with the park hours & EMH hours, and resort newsletter.

I thought it was so relaxing, loved the hammocks on the beach, and a hot tub after walking loads at the parks.

We thought the theming/landscapping at CBR to be beautiful. I'd pick CBR over Pop any day! Good thing Disney has many resorts so that everyone can find a resort that appeals to them!

I agree that it can be difficult to figure out where your room is at pretty much any mod or value resort. I usually spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out where there darn room is. Heck, I even got lost trying to find my room at AsSpo, and it's a small resort

Please understand, I think CBR is beautiful and the landscaping is fantastic. Yes, there was a map in our folder, however, the young lady that checked us in didn't explain diddly. I think if I would be with my husband, then that may be a different story The 2 little grandchildren got, first time visitor buttons, a fairy wand, a sword, stickers and there was something else. I would recommend CBR to people, but, with the hopes that the layout would be explained as well as the internal bus.
