CBR Questions

I need help from the experts!

We are planning a Dec trip. I started with 12/5 -12/13 and now found out about Pop Warner. POR Riverside is not available that week. AAA has us at CBR for that week. We've never stayed there only POR Riverside which we loved.

2 questions.

1. Should I change the reservation to 12/12/08 - 12/20...how busy is it usually at that time? We can have POR if I change my dates.

2. I'm not sure that we would like the CBR atmosphere. It is generally quiet at that time?

I am overwhelmed right now trying to plan everything. We haven't been to WDW in 7 years and I'm not familiar with the dining plan etc. ADR etc. I'd like to make this a nice trip but I feel like I'm going to have to spend tons of time planning everything!

Any help & suggestions would be appreciated!!!!!!!

BTW, it's just me and dh....mid 40's.

CBR is a beautiful resort. Even when the resort is full it is very quiet. You might want to check out the CBR FAQ thread. Link is listed below.

I enjoyed our stay there. You are right it is very quite.

We stayed at CBR 2 years in a row when the PW kids were there and they were out cheering around the large lake when we arrived but they were indoors by 10pm. They mob the food court first thing in the morning so the next day DH and I went later, after 9, and it was empty.
